This system will play 95% of the same games as PS4.
They'll nail the games. How is this even a question? Put a disc in the system, it'll load the game and it'll play. Whether or not you put your cable through it doesn't impact that.
Ignore the rest (though systems have been adding extras forever, not sure why this is such a shot to people).
Game devs have no problem making kinect features optional. Kinect won't be a problem. Every game isn't going to be tracking your head. Devs learned that sometimes people want to sit down while playing.
You won't be hearing that much about games now though because it's still early. MS hasn't even announced a system yet, game devs don't want to unload info too early.
Can any of the people saying "but it's about the gaming system" stuff explain why they think it won't be good at playing games? Can't you ignore all the rest of the stuff that doesn't apply (like you've done for prior console generations?). I'm just a little confused as to how these aren't pleasing the "hardcore" gamer when they'll give you everything you have now and more.
