I'm getting an xbox 1 but this is the one thing that might make me take my time in making the switch. If I have to keep transfering my account back and forth between systems I might as well wait.

My understanding is you will not have to do that. We should definitely hear more @ E3

Until I see Microsoft stuff a couple thousand workers in a giant room to spy on 40 million XBL users Lucious Fox style or at least something more substantial than what we've seen and heard so far, then I won't let the fear mongering effect my buying decision.

It won't be MS, but it will be the Government or a hacker that will do so. Still, I will also wait for more info from MS at E3 before I apply tin foil. If they fail to address it, it will be a valid concern for sure going forward.

You won't see anything that is the point, just like the Verizon customers didn't!

Its not fear mongering, do some research on the patriot act, sopa, PIPA. Online monitoring is being pushed hard and they want people to just be nonchalant about it, "ahhh if they want to watch me eat Cheetos so be it", this is the responses they are looking for. Then your privacy slow disappears, which is directly tied to your constitutional right of privacy. This is border line political so I'll stop here, but my point is that the reason the always on kinect being a big deal is because of this very story above in relation to Verizon.

As a Xbox One next-gen exclusive, Titanfall will be utilizing Microsoft's cloud, offloading physics and AI load to the servers. The cloud will also offer dedicated servers for the title, apparently up to…well, unlimited servers. Respawn says the game would not be possible without the use of Microsoft's cloud.

My statement was not a cop out answer. I simply stated that my loyalty to Xbox is clouding my judgement on which console to purchase. You obviously do not like what you have heard from MS. Fine. I am waiting to see if I like what I hear from PS4 more. I agree MS hasn't done the greatest job so far, but no matter what you are saying here, as of today we don't know what PS4's plans are. You may have all the information you need to make your decision, I require more. No big deal, but it doesn't mean it's a cop out.

I agree with you, I need to hear real details about PS4. They've been pretty vague and dancing around topics, just want to hear confirmed facts.

To be honest, I expected that to happen before they would cancel the bigger press conference they cancelled. I'm guessing they designate one or two people to talk to the media (in groups) so they have a single clear message.

If not, then they better explain everything during their press conference.

If not, then they better explain everything during their press conference.

I'd also expect just one big massive PR Statement being sent out to all the major outlets.

They would be better off tackling the problem right during their conference for all to see. If Microsoft is gonna change up so much with gaming, tell the people why, and why they will benefit from it in the end.

Of course they would have to get creative for some of those consumer benefits..

WOW MS cancels a 1 on 1 with 1 media outlet due to scheduling & now MS cancels all 1 on 1 interviews.
