Can't compare a First person shooter to a racing game at all. It is because the hardware can't handle it while running it at 60 FPS.
Yes it is going to be a rocky start for Xbox one the first year and that will most likely happen to PS4 as well. I'm sure PS4 will have some problems a long the way to. But overall a year down the road people will be happy with the system they choose. I'm getting the XBox One and I'm going to enjoy it as well. Yes it will be some problems from the start. But in time it will get fixed.

Neither the Xbox One or PS4 are going to support mp3s or music streaming from other sources.

What's the source on the Xbox One? Not saying I don't believe it, but haven't seen anything official. The tweet that went out about this was in relation to DLNA, not MP3 support.

I saw the PS4 FAQ yesterday. Do you have a source for the XB1 info? Did they say anything about DLNA support?

“For now it’s a $10 subscription per month on the console to get access to that,” Porter (left) said, adding that more options may come after the Xbox One is launched.

In other words, if you want to play your music collection through the console’s default music app, you’ll have to subscribe to the premium version of the app, which costs $10 per month or $100 for a yearly subscription.

Then you can upload your music collection to Microsoft’s cloud storage service, and stream it back to the console via the Internet.

That’s in addition to the $60 per year that you must pay for premium Xbox Live Gold membership to use the music app in the first place."

From both Sony and Microsoft, this is ridiculous. $100 a year to play your own music?

Glad I have a 250GB ipod. It works well with MP3's. I have roughly over 1700 songs, and I have lots of room to grow.

Terrible. Which means I'll have to keep my Home Theater PC plugged in downstairs as well as my X360 and potential future XB1.

You know, if the EA Sports games would come back to PC...I might just pass up this whole next-gen thing and just upgrade my HTPC
