I thought the battery was built in like the PS?

it uses aa batteries or the rechargeable pack. I use the rechargeable pack, it lasts longer than the 360 pack did. I play quite a lot each day and only recharge every 6-7 days.

I also agree though, hope the AAs last for a while. I'll probably get a charger at some point, but rather not rush to get it. I also have some rechargeable AAs I can just rotate in.
I combat the PS4 battery life with an extra long USB cord.

For 360 I buy the 30 pack of AA's from lowes every Black Friday for $5 and it lasts me the entire year and more. So I bought another 30 pack this year and am hoping they will last until next Black Friday with my XBOne.

The actual statement was not an accident. Who it was directed at was. If you could be so kind as to show me where, you know, proof, that I was referring to Rawdog that'd be great.

Otherwise I stand by my apology to him as it was an accident.

          Semantics ...
You acted like you didn't know why people were talking about possible ban etc.. You posted a rude childish remark.
          Move on.

No I didn't. I acknowledged in my post to Rawdog I was PM'd about a ban BECAUSE the comment was (Supposedly) directed at RawDog. I never quoted Rawdog. Nor did KG who I was responding to.

I had no idea who KG was talking about or who he was talking to until after people like you and unnamed PM'er PM'ed me. When I first enter3ed this thread this morning the page PG's post was on was the first page I read. If he wasn't quoting anyone, how in the world do I know who's he talking to?

I'll move on, but I will defend myself when I know I did not mean to offend a particular person.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Eneloop rechargeable batteries. Amazon has a 4-Pack AA with charger set for $12.99. Bought it last night. All I need now is a couple of chairs and a new TV stand and I'll be set for my Day One (Christmas Day).

I used those enloops for my Turtle Beach headsets. They worked very well.

You've probably insulted him more times at this point with all of the 'childish' remarks than what you are arguing about. If you moved on the last couple of exchanges wouldn't have even happened. And you are PMing him too? Is there a new mod level using blue names now or is this an audition?

You should look into the sony charger that many of the reviews on eneloop recommend. It may cost another 10 bucks, but supposedly the charger is much better than the one that comes with the eneloop batteries.

Finding demos in the App Store was a chore, until someone on the boards said they typed in demos in the search bar and found one. Getting to your friends, initially was a chore to find out. Is there anywhere to find out how much HD space is left? I still haven't found that. Viewing players that you recently played with/against I still haven't found either. After going through the menus for a while I also have not found how to see the battery life on my controller. There are more issues that I had/have but I won't name them all as you'll also have your own opinion, and this will turn into an even longer diatribe.

I get that it's an xboxone thread, but I simply responded to a running commentary on PS4 and XBOXone in this thread from post 8813 through 8846. Lol. So maybe if you would have read those posts you would see that I'm not trolling/stirring the pot.

But as I said that is my opinion of the system as of now, take it for what it is...... My opinion.
I don't work on the team who designed the interface (I'm on Live TV), but I know that many of your issues are valid and known. The friends app, HDD status, battery life, party, etc all needs to get a bit more user friendly.

I can't comment on the specifics of what or when anything is happening, but I have had issues doing some of the same things you have.

I think the confusion came when you called the interface cumbersome, when it's not actually the interface that's a problem, it's the way we buried or didn't expose certain pieces of functionality.

I know we can even do things in Live TV to make things easier. I'm sitting down this afternoon at home, wiping all my TV settings and taking notes on everything we should change.

Side question - think it's possible where we could use voice commands to pause DVR playback (or other remote functions)? For instance, my remote has buttons for the letters "A", "B", and "C"....might be cool if I could say "Xbox Enter A" or something like that and have it do that control.

I'm still waiting for Christmas for my Xbox One, just thinking of how I might use it...Obviously the remote is still needed, but play/pause type stuff for DVR could be cool.
