I have no issue downloading rosters and not sure there is an online pass. I dont think that is the case
I played some Forza 5 for a bit, that was pretty awesome.

I just uninstalled madden, now im trying to reinstall it. while offline. It just hit 23% or so, and said its ready to start. It did that last time and i played it right away, so im wondering if maybe the online portions didnt install as of yet. so im going to let it sit until its fully installed and see if that helps.

It could. I heard people doing this with different apps when they have issues and seems to work

I had a similar issue a few months ago. I ordered online with store pick up. Drove over an hour to pick it up and had to stand in line 30 minutes for them to ring up the Live card. Took 4 associates and calls to their corp dept for a card that was already paid for online. They finally figured out it was the wrong card they had pulled for the pick up since they are a few different $60 cards. Instead of just letting it go and a manager writing it off, they risked losing the whole $700 plus order over a $60 card already paid for online. If it was not for the 36 mos financing I got, I would have walked.

Looks like the uninstall worked. Unless I just got lucky with 5 straight Blu rays. Hopefully dodged a bullet.

              1. Have your customer who has a $750 Best Buy Credit Reward Zone credit card and a balance of $637.00 pay online $637.00 to achieve what appears to be a $0 balance.

              2. Have your Best Buy representative, a friendly chap named Ethan, assure your customer via chat that they do in fact have a $0 balance and they can go to Best Buy and buy a new Xbox One.

              3. Have customer go to Best Buy store local to them and have him think he's going to buy an Xbox One. He's not of course.

              4. Decline the credit card when your customer stands in line. This thoroughly humiliates said customer as predicted.

              5. Have your customer call in while everyone around waits so he can ask why his card was declined and be told that all payments take up to 48 hours to process.

              6. Tell the customer that you can likely do a manual override as they are a customer in good standing.

              7. Put the customer on hold for approximately 10 minutes while they stand there in line growing both in anger at the delay and in humiliation for being a loser who has his credit card declined.

              8. Come back on the phone and tell customer that he would have had to have paid cash to get immediate authorization. Tell him this despite the fact that their headquarters where money is sent to approximately 700 miles away from said customer.

              9. Listen to customer threaten to go to Walmart.com and buy a better bundle there and then explain to him to just wait until Monday which defeats the purpose of buying Best Buy since Walmart.com online has a better deal. Laugh (metaphorically of course) at his bluff.

              10. Inspire customer to actually return to the office, login to to Walmart.com and buy a new $499.99 Xbox One while simultaneously renewing said customers utter disgust at just how poor Best Buy has gotten in how it treats, or mistreats as the case may be, it's customers.

On the flip side I will get UFC for free with my Walmart package and I also got Forza, which I already owned so I sold it for $25

Damn, that sucks. If you can get an Amex card. As soon as you make the online payment it instantly applies to your limit. Sucks that they did that. Some of these companies need to get with the times. There shouldn't be a 48 hour wait for it to apply.

That is not accurate info on Amex. They post immediately depending on the source you are paying with. Not all banks post right away and many today takes 2 to 3 business days. I know because I work in a big company where we have customers who use all types of debit and credit cards.

Perhaps your bank process payment quickly enabling Amex to post but it does not for me as it takes 1 to 2 days for me through Chase.

Best Buy credit card payments take up to 48 hours. The guy who helped Odogg gave him incorrect info as he might have confused himself and stated the payment went through but it does not mean it will post right away.

Best Buy did right with the 20 credit but they are not to blame because of an agent confusion as it is normal on all posted payments.

$0 balance at the time doesn't mean you have all of your available credit. That would have been the better question.

It's not Best Buy's fault, period. Balance on the card != balance available. That's with every single credit card out there.

You've ground your axe with Best Buy plenty on this site before. Stop going to them if they do nothing but upset you over the past however many years. Not difficult.

Best buys credit card..not the stores...i was never mad at the store. The guy at the store was cool. As for citicorp, not Best Buy...my point is its a best buy card...so even if its citi corps fault, its the best buy brand that takes the hit.

As for why i don't give up on best buy....its because they were once my favorite store and as much as i love online ordering i hate to see Best Buy go the way of Circuit City over stupid stuff like this..
