I usually got mine on amazon in the past, but if i recall the cheaper prices were usually for the cards so you would have to wait for it to ship. Last month i browsed google shopping trying to find a cheaper price, and came up with this:
I went through with the ordering process. I got the 12 month + 1 extra month for like 41.99. Currently it looks like they have 12 months for 39.99 and the same 12+1 for 42.95.
The ordering seems shady, but it does work. You order, then you can click a link in the email or if you sign up for an account it will be in your orders page. You click the download code button, then i think it asked for my phone number to text me a security code. i entered the code, and then the downloaded code looked like it was like an image of a scribbled code on a piece of paper. However it worked just fine (I did have an issue with xbox.com accepting the code. it gave me a general error message, nothing about the code being invalid. but it had to do with my works outdated version of IE, it worked fine when i entered it in chrome.)
