Have a question about using external HDs, hope I can explain it well enough. If I save a game on both the Hds internal and external then play the game for a bit and save I'll have to determine which one i'm using and always copy it over right?

I assume one will have more saves than the other?

I'm just guessing, so don't hold me to this, but I'm pretty sure the Xbox One resolves all saves syncing over Live, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Just seen on Reddit that if you go into a Microsoft store and show them that you have three of their apps installed on your phone or a tablet they will give you a $25 gift card. I was skeptical so I called and they confirmed it. It's only for today and tomorrow.

Found out about this deal too late. Would have jump on it for an easy $50 Xbox credit had I heard about it earlier.

I've been having trouble with parties and sometimes games take a while to load up. It's annoying sometimes I admit.

Xbox One

The dashboard update was too buggy for me, so I removed myself from the preview program. I'm back to my old dashboard, but this completely reformatted my Xbox. I'm a little worried because I was in the middle of the tomb raider definitive, and I don't think it had time to upload my save before it forced the old dashboard back on my Xbox. I would suggest thinking twice before installing that beta dashboard

Did you report your bugs? I hope people that are opting out because of bugs are at least giving feedback first to improve it. I personally have had nothing bugs wise so I feel like I'm no help to them.

With the exception of the rock band instrument issue but they know about that already.

Yeah I gave my feedback directly to Microsoft over the phone. A lot of freezing and slowdown in certain games

You should have reported the issues on the console. It can capture screens and videos of the problems and submits them to the teams. Who knows if the support person on the phone relayed anything. They may have, but additional info from the machine would have been useful.

Well.. I was more worried about getting my XBOX functioning again. I wasn't able to do anything with it this weekend.

Sorry about the bad experience. To echo the above point, phone reports often don't get circled back to us as bugs, since they are front-line tech support and like 5 degrees removed from us. Just for future reference.

for me, every since installing the new UI, Destiny has been laggy and game and party chats have been choppy.

If I do it from my Windows 10 PC, it seems fine, and from my 360 it's fine.
tried hard resetting xbox, but still seems to be an issue.

just reset to factory default hope that makes a difference.

for an update, still had the issue, so I change to opt-out of the new UI.
redownloaded the old UI and installed it.
It seems something else is causing the bad connections with Destiny and party chats as it was still a problem. so I will likely opt back in to the new UI. just wanted to test it to make sure. It apparently was just a coincidence that it started right after getting the new UI update.

still not sure what is causing the issue though, unless it was brought on with just the preview build in general. but now I know it wasn't caused by the new UI update. speedtest and pings test are good, using a wired connection. Will just have to keep testing stuff to figure it out i guess.

Biggest issue I just had was after playing Batman with TV snapped I quit the game and clicked for TV to be full screen and the system reboot itself. No error codes but I did report the problem.

Hope it gets resolved soon, I have luckily had zero issues with Destiny in the new UI.

Exact same experience for me. I was beginning to think I was the only one. Reverted back to the previous dashboard and the console has been stable ever since.
