Best Buy has Fantasia (XB1) for $4.99 ($3.99 GCU) as their Deal of the Day.

Requires Kinect (sucks for me) but I've heard great things from friends who own the game. Adults and kids both like it a lot. That price point looks like a steal.

Wife liked the demo, which is extremely rare for her to like anything like that. So, I bought the game afterwards. I can tell you this, it's an absolute blast to play If you like that kind of game. Especially if you've got a few people and you're sharing some drinks etc.


It's pretty fun. For that price, I'd definitely recommend it.

For those interested in a new xbox one..MS is offering starting Friday through just the weekend...3 days

Buy any xbox one console and get a free game of choice and free controller.

They are also offering 250 credit for any xbox one or ps4 console towards a purchase of an xbox one so if you get the elite bundle that comes out only at GameStop tomorrow you pay 250 extra to get the elite controller sold out everywhere and a 1tb ssd hybrid drive along with let's say Black Ops free and an extra controller.

You can even trade console tomorrow and pay 250 to get the elite bundle and go back on Friday with just the receipt at gamestop to claim free game and controller.

I'm eligible, but you can't order specific equipment from DirecTV. Might try and get them to swap it out under the protection plan first.

Just call them. If you're eligible for an upgrade and you've been a good customer they will likely upgrade it for you for free. I'd try that before going the protection plan route because if you do that they are only going to give you a replacement of the HR34.

Will actually be trading in my PS4 to GameStop by the 15th so I can get the $250 in credit and will either buy Xbox One the same day or wait until Black Friday. Depends on what deals (if any) they have at the time I trade in the PS4. Hoping that GameStop's Black Friday deals will be announced/leaked by the time I trade in my PS4.

If you're curious, im trading in my PS4 because $250 is pretty damn good and it makes this damn beeping sound while the console is turned off but still plugged in. Drives me nuts. Getting an Xbox One because I want to play Rise of the Tomb Raider which im pre-ordering this coming weekend at Best Buy. Whether I buy Xbox One the day I trade in my PS4 or on Black Friday, I'll also be buying a new PS4. If I can somehow snag both for $200-$250 new after I trade in all the extras and stuff, that will be one hell of a Black Friday for me.

It's funny, while majority of gamers will be playing Fallout 4, I'll be playing Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Have no interest in the Elite bundle. Good deal for those who want it but not me. I just want a good basic bundle and I'll be good to go with Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Best Buy will be having a deal this coming Friday and Saturday in which you get a $50 gift card and a FREE game of your choice ($59.99 and under) when you purchase any Xbox One console. A good amount of people have actually traded in their current older model Xbox One to GameStop for $250, bought ebay gift cards and then purchased Best Buy gift cards using the ebay gift cards. Granted, it takes a few hours for everything to go through and seems like a pain in the *** but that's not a bad swap. Spend an extra $100 plus tax but get the free game and a $50 gift card.

Seeing deals like this makes me think that Black Thursday/Friday will be even better.

I'm not expecting the elite bundle to be a part of any BF sales but im definitely casual and as im sure you know, I don't buy disc based games digitally and don't collect games anymore so 500GB is more than enough to last me for the entire generation. Same thing with the Elite controller. It's great and everything but I would think that most gamers who buy that are online gamers and being able to swap buttons will be huge in terms of competing online. For a single player gamer such as myself, as long as ROTTR and future games allow me to turn off the vibration, im good to play.

Spending only $250 in cash to trade up is a great deal for those who want the controller and while the SSHD is good, has Microsoft announced how much of the SSHD is solid state and how much is a regular hard drive? Also, for a total of $500, having both consoles is the better move for me.

Yeah I really am digging the new UI. Can't wait to see how smooth it gets with the continued updates. Good time to be an Xbox One gamer!
