Have to send my X1 in for repairs for the third time for the same problem(disc drive)

I guess it's my fault they don't fix it right. It sits in a well vented area and doesn't get touched besides changing a disc from time to time..... This time the warranty is up and will cost $115

I'll probably do it and then it will break again and I'll send them another $100+ praying to Jesus they do it right for once. Don't worry though they will send me a free month of Xbox live which amount to anything .....

Just about done with this system, it's been nothing but a head ache most of the time. I love it when it actually works

*Waits for- "my system works perfectly since day one" comments

Lol I have a "Day One" system. Runs perfect. Still have Squaretrade warranty also.

Xbox Elite controller back in stock at Best Buy. Comes with a free copy of Halo 5 also. Pretty great deal there, especially for anyone feeling the $150 price tag was high.

I had this frustration with 2 xboxes...It would only play discs I'd all ready installed, so I traded it in to Gamestop with a game I know would play....they were fine testing that since anything else would have had to install and take forever....

Mine are all installed and still won't play...

I sometimes can get it to work if I unplug everything. A hard rest does nothing

Only dragging out what's gonna have to be done to it and that's replace the dumb thing

Not sure if this is the best place to ask but figured someone would know.

I just got a 78 inch 4K tv for the man cave...do I need to get HDMI 2.0 cables, or does the cable that came with the XB1 suffice?

And if I do need new 2.0 cables, do I need one that goes from the Dish Receiver into the XB1, and one that goes from the XB1 to the tv itself?

I have a samsung 4K tv and cable or consoles do not require 2.0 as neither do 4K
