The insinuation is certainly there and in the Psyonix release too:

Expect to see Rocket League cross-network play working on Xbox One and PC later this spring, with information regarding other platforms coming soon.

We'll see how long it takes to confirm/shoot down any smoldering suggestions that Xbox One and PS4 cross-play is possible.

I expect MS has probably set up their own playground and will require others to come to it.

Just saw that and says that PS4 would be included....can you imagine if games like Destiny or the Division or Madden used this?

Even though I'm a single player gamer, it'd be cool to be able to roll with my PS4 bretheren!

My assumption is that for this to work the games have to use MS services, and MS is just dropping any opposition to games working together on other platforms if they were using those services previously.

To use a crude analogy, I expect MS will be happy for games to play together, they just have to come do it in their backyard, rather than everyone go out into the street and play, or over to the park, etc.

I wonder if you'll even be able to send invites to friends across platforms. I doubt that happens between either PSN or Steam, especially based on how Valve feels about Microsoft.

My wife is a Saints fan and she loves the copper one. I just got an Elite controller so I"m good.

P.S. how long until MS releases the Elite in different colors? My guess is around Black Friday...

Are there any digital movie rental services that are known to have a high quality picture than others? SO wants to watch Se7en this weekend, but only has it on DVD. I'll pay to rent it in HD lol.

VUDU, we tried it once (it gives you a free trial) and it worked great for about 20 minutes then started buffering so we gave up on it. I think it was my internet though more than the service. We were having issues with it then.

Yeah vudu is actually a pretty good service. Been using it for years

My coworker likes renting movies on amazon, can't comment myself on streaming quality....

Amazon Prime movies work great for me, as do Netflix.

Unless I just haven't figured out how to do it after a couple years, you can't actually rent Amazon movies through the Xbox. Just view the Prime stuff.
