Had some fun with NFS once I got past all the unskippable hokey FMV.

EA Access is worth it's subscription in gold though. Be sure to give some of those games you've never played a go, and check out other EA games, free trials of them all if they're not in the vault.

Yeah, EA Access is probably why I made the final choice to go away from the PS4 to XBox One. PS4 exclusives are fantastic, but the games I usually end up buying are XBox One games as well (other than MLB The Show which I'll miss dearly).

I've never looked into EA Access because I was a Playstation gamer, so I figured the price was $50-$60 a year. After seeing it's $29.99 a year, I'm in 100%! After my free trial month, I'll just buy the annual membership. There are way more good games on there than I ever imagined.

Has anyone here played Unravel? It's not usually my style of game, but it looks pretty fun from the videos I've seen. Any impressions?

Heard nothing but good things, but haven't tried it myself.

W/ EA Access and games with gold I like that my backlog is growing automatically even though I'm just playing Madden and PC games mostly, lol. Very excited for Play Anywhere in the long run also, and backward compatibility as my library explodes (~120 titles installed, another 70 ready to install?). Knowing I'll be able to play almost all of these titles for the next decade on my console is a huge plus for a digital packrat.

Interesting, Resident Evil 7 is a Play Anywhere title.

This is very interesting. And isn't it the first third party game to be a "Play Anywhere" title?

Hopefully Microsoft is able to convince EA and others to jump on the Play Anywhere train. Would be pretty awesome of next year's lineup of sports games was suddenly on PC, too.

The Play Anywhere feature really needs heavy third party support to be a game changing feature. While it is just first party, it's a way for PS4 users to get access to Xbox games without buying an Xbox. But with third party, it suddenly becomes a great way to own games. I'm a Mac user, but if Play anywhere becomes more established with third parties, I kind of have to consider getting a PC gaming rig.

While streaming seemed cool, it really allow me to play games on the PC while my wife watched TV. But if you can just pick up your save and move to the PC, it become really flexible.

Love Play Anywhere....great for Astroneer, my older PC can run it well.

One issue is that the company making the game has to do online gaming across platforms (Steam/Windows Store)....i thought i read that some game barely had people playing it online and they gave refunds?

Speaking of EA Access, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 were added to the vault today.

I don't think Madden will ever happen since EA has Origin to publish to if they ever went to PC. EA hasn't even released a PC game of any type on steam since 2013.

First wave of the new preview going out today. Expected to go to everyone in the spring.

First I've heard of copilot, that could be really neat as I introduce the Xbox to my son, being able to use 2 controllers to control one profile, if I understand it correctly.

                              lol, shots fired.

I'd imagine for indie devs it's like a whole new generation power-wise, as their games are often relatively smaller and less resource intensive (I feel like CM Hooe is going to come and yell at me for saying this or something). For AAA games I'm expecting a bit of diminishing returns as they try and push more pixels as well as performance.

Either way, should be a fun year. I don't really get hyped over games anymore, but when new hardware is coming...
