I use Kinect but I'm imagining it works the same. There is a setting somewhere to make it enter the commands slower or faster.

Re: Xbox One
I was like that last gen but not to that much of an extent. I had 34 digital games on Xbox 360 and 10 digital games on PS3. Out of those 44 games, I completed only 15 of those games. When I started this generation, I was like, I have to stop doing that as all im doing is wasting money and even worse, I don't even play the majority of games that I purchased digitally.
This gen, im doing better mainly because I have a one game per year limit when it comes to games that are also available on disc. Indies/PSN/XBLA games usually have to be $10 or less.
Doing that again would just way too overwhelming. It's bad enough that I have around a 15 game backlog going into 2017 and don't want to add any more. LOL. With Best Buy GCU and to a lesser extent, GameFly, it makes it a lot easier to avoid doing what I was doing last generation.
And oh crap....I didn't even notice the ready to install games...so 170 games??? That surpasses me last gen, this gen and maybe all gens combined. LOL.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I'm actually pretty close to that across both platforms. My steam library is also over 500 games too. I think that's part of the problem. I'm so used to using Steam on PC, I just don't want to be bothered with discs anymore.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I'm buying a tv soon and the tv I am looking at supports Dolby Vision.
Does anyone know if Xbox Scorpio will or will not support Dolby Vision?Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Xbox One
Dolby Vision is a proprietary version of HDR licensed by Dolby. Some folks say it's a competing standard to HDR10, which is the open standard, but from what I've read they will both be around for awhile as they are more complimentary than competitive (sort of like Dolby Surround and DTS).
Dolby Vision allows the HDR lighting to be dynamic based upon each scene in a movie or tv show whereas HDR10 sets the baseline for the lighting at the start of the show and it cannot change. This is why Dolby Vision has the potential to be much better, as it will allow for more flexibility in how shows that we watch utilize HDR lighting.
From all I've read although Sony and Samsung are all about HDR the biggest player in the movie rental game, Netflix, supports and endorses Dolby Vision. Amazon Video will support both as will most other content providers. I've read VUDU is a big supporter of Dolby Vision too.
HDR10 is the blanket HDR that is the open standard so it will be more common but i think we'll see a lot of Dolby Vision. I'm eager to try both and see if I can really notice that much of a difference.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

The other night I went to play Nioh on PS4 and get that stupid "insert disc" thing. Usually I only buy digital but I was unsure about Nioh and thought I'd may want to resell it so I got the disc. So anyways, I get up, turn on the light, find the disc in my little case, its not there, oh that's right, its in my other case..ok, go get that case, turn out the light, go to put it in the PS4..nope, a disc is already in the PS4. What disc is in the PS4? Where is the damned eject button on this PS4? Oh crap, accidentally turned OFF the PS4. Turn on the light again, go back to PS4, find the power button and turn it back on. Find the eject button and eject the disc. Oh that's right, I watched a movie. Ok, put that movie in the case, then go back over and insert the disc. Turn out the light and sit down to play. No wait, the disc isn't all the way in, I didn't insert it far enough (that's what she said right?) so go back over and thankfully I don't have to turn on the light, nudge the disc, it goes in all the way. Sit down and go back in the menu and start Nioh.
As opposed to "Hey I want to play Nioh digital version!"

Re: Xbox One
Oh yes! And I have that issue too. And how about if you have company over and people are having a good time and want to game and you're like "oh wait, let me spend 10 minutes hunting down that disc", talk about a buzzkill eh?Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
