On the topic of custom controllers, I definitely want one and think I'll be buying one in the near future. The elite is nice but I think I'm gonna hold out if they make a white one.

Also, bought Stardew Valley tonight, I've heard great things about it and it looks like a lot of fun.

Side note: I'm an achievement junkie so I apologize if I appear in any of your feeds a ton and/or pass you on the leaderboard, I'm trying to get some easy ones.

Stardew Valley is a fun game. I got it on PC.
Been meaning to go back as there have been a lot of updates since I last played.


As for the elite controller, i got an elite controller. Got it mostly for Destiny and The Division, setup a profile for each. It was really useful in Division as I mapped healing, grenades, and the cover buttons to the paddles. Didn't have to stop moving or aim/shoot to heal or prime a grenade. I think I also did the b button as well.

Destiny, I think I just remapped a,b,x,y. It's been a while and don't think I used it much as I got it just before getting the division, so most of my destiny time was pre elite controller.

I love my Elite controller, but I'm not convinced it's worth the price for the average gamer. My wife and daughter gave me one for my birthday, which was pretty cool. I use it exclusively, and my wife won't play with anything else. But we don't use the paddles, or most of the features. It just has a great feel.

But I would really like a custom controller. Im just afraid I would never use it.

Really, really love all the controller options Microsoft puts out.

I would love the feel of the Elite, but I don't game enough to make it worth it...When I was single and gamed like crazy it'd be a no brainer.

I like the Lunar White controller that has the textured back...I think the newer custom controllers have that now too...

Agreed. Really like the Elite, but I don't play enough or play FPS games in general, to justify picking one up.

The textured backs on the controllers are really nice. I've got a few color combinations in my head that I wouldn't mind seeing on a controller, so might design a few out and see if I follow through with a purchase.

Haven't had much playing time with the Elite, but last night I mapped the top Left Paddle to Left Trigger in Destiny....it sounds weird but man, aiming down scope like that was surprisingly effective.

The overall feel/weight, freedom to change the buttons and addition of the paddles really do make using the controller an awesome experience.

Yep, the Lunar White was what I used most of the time before. Once you get that textured backing, it's hard to give it up.

Exactly..and i only got that because gamestop was sold out of normal ones lol

So hard to explain, but that texture is great, helps you from getting too sweaty and just makes holding it feel more natural. It sounds so stupid but that little aspect is killer

Update on Stardew Valley, I know it's a PC game first and foremost but as I mentioned I got it for X1 earlier this week and it's one of the most addicting games I've ever played.

It's a blast, there is so much to do and the game basically has no end date, you can play for as long as you want. For $14.99 it's well worth the money I spent and I can see myself playing this for a long time and getting the 100% on it.

Highly recommended

This is the first time I have heard any such rumor have not seen any rumor any place on the internet. When did you hear this?

There appears to be a few articles that mentioned people were worried that it was going to be delayed because it's still not available for preorder. MS still saying it'll be out in November.

Console still not approved by FCC apparently, so they are not doing pre-orders yet.
