Ah 100 a year. That’s actually pretty cool though. My PC only does 1080/60 though for most games if I’m lucky. If it pushed out the same quality as the OneX id do that for sure. I gotta play anthem in all its glory on the X.

Exodus is one of the generation's better looking games and as for how it plays, I'll wait and see for myself when I play it.Comment

10 min a day is easily doable when you first start. Once you get used to how to click through popular searches, news, and run chrome in mobile (faster that using a phone) it can be done in about 2-3 minutes. During the week it usually is the first thing I do when I get to work.Comment

Re: Xbox One
The mediocre reviews arent surprising to me. I remember the first crackdown not being anything amazing graphically, gameplay or storywise. Its a fun game to mess around and kill time in. But if you are looking for another GTA, you will be disappointing. Completely different type of game.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Same. I currently have about 80k points (worth for about 2 years and 2/3 of the way to a 3rd year of gold, or about a year of game pass). game pass through june and gold through august. Haven't ever paid for game pass and haven't paid for gold in about 3 years now.

Re: Xbox One
Account.microsoft.com/rewards. Sign in with the same account as you have your gamer tag linked to. It lists all the points you can get. If you go to the bing home page there is a bar with popular searches, so you can pretty much click through those. Or go to the news tab and click through all the different topics.
-bing searches is the most. Typically 270 a day but some months you can get double points.
-daily set. 3 items ranging from a total of 30-70 points. They are stuff like a 3 question quiz, a poll question, check out this cool art, stuff like that. If you do all 3 every day, you get bonus point streaks. Every 10 days typically is a bonus 100 points.
-punch cards. Rent 3 movies in a month, get a bonus 2500. Stuff like that.
-purchases. Get points for digital games, movie purchase or rent, pc stuff from the microsoft store, etc.
-rewards app on xbox has a few items similar to the daily set. 5 points to see this game in the store. 5 points to open this stream in mixer.
-rewards app also has achievement based rewards. Download game x on game pass, earn any achievement, get 2000 points.
Point values are essentially 1000 points per dollar for gift cards. Varies by a couple hundred based on what gift card. 3 month game pass is like 19500, so less than $20 in gift card value. Year of gold is 29900 or so, less than $30 of gift card value. Sometimes there are hot deals. Year of gold for only 24000. 3 month game pass for only 15000. Once I got a free 3 month game pass deal too. So getting about 10-14k per month equals free gold and game pass, and enough for extra gift cards if I want.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I can confirm that these are easy to install for a fix to the rubber grip expansion problem on the xbox Elite controller.

Expensive but I felt it was worth it since I really like the Elite controller. I just hope they don't end up having the same issue too fast.Comment

Is the best way for Game Pass and Live to either do the year of Live or the 3 month game pass, sometimes when they have deals? My Game Pass is dying in April or something, so hoping to build up to keep that going forever, along with Live as it comes up in almost 6 months....Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
Having some major issues here with my XB1X which is only about a month old. Maybe some of you can help...
Yesterday I tried to boot up Nascar Heat 3. Went to play a race, as it was loading the race, kicked me back out to the dashboard. Kept happening over and over. Uninstalled it from my external drive, re-downloaded. Hasn't had any issues.
While it was downloading, I tried to launch Madden. Error popped up saying something about corrupt data. Closed it, launched F1 2018. Loads fine, went to have a quick race, loads the track just fine, once I go to start the race, it just sits there. Game is locked up, it's just showing my pit crew standing around the car talking. It's not loading though to take me to the actual race start. Happens over and over.
I exit that game, load up Farming Simulator. No problems.
Launch Forza Horizon 4, loads up fine, right at the "press A to start" screen, press A, it starts loading, kicks me right back to the dashboard.
Load up Ace Combat 7... go to play a mission, once I select my plane and wait for it to load the mission. Boots me back to the dash.
I uninstalled AC7 yesterday. Re-installed. Same issues, same exact time while loading. Madden, I didnt uninstall, but was able to play it just fine yesterday. F1 is still freezing. I'm presently downloading AC7 to my other console to see if it works there, and I'm re-downloading/installing to my Internal drive this time on my XB1X. I also moved AC7 over to my internal today and tried to start it, but instead got an error that said "Sorry, that didn't work" with error code 0x8007002.
My XB1X has my external hooked up to it. It's the console that's causing the problems, I'm thinking my external may be dying? Does this seem familiar to anyone else who's had one die on them? I'm guessing that if AC7 launches fine from this fresh download to the internal, then my issue must be the external drive I assume?
I've tried uninstalls/reinstalls, power cycles, reboots, nothing seems to help. Going to try a reset next (while keeping my game data) to see if that helps, although I'm starting to feel like it may be my external drive failing?
Any idea's suggestions? Or does it sound like my external may be dying? I've had it since the XB1 launch basically. Any idea's/suggestions on a new HD to buy?
EDIT: AC7 has finished re-installing on the Internal drive now as a fresh install, launched, still crashed just the same way as from the external drive.
Could it be that I have an issue with the actual console itself then? This is getting ridiculous.Last edited by brandon27; 02-18-2019, 01:55 PM.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

I would put all the games you play on the console hard drive and play them for a few days and see if that fixes the issue. If it does I’d by a new external.
Edit: just saw your edit. I’d contact Microsoft support at this point. Could try a factory reset of the console as a last resort to fix it yourself.Comment
