When I have traded in or sold a system I just do the full factory reset to where when they turn it on it looks like it is being turned on for first time (the system setup screen and whatnot)"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Keep in mind if I felt compelled to have a second PS4 in my house, I would buy it. I won't buy it without the absolute want/need of a second one, though. Trading in one PS4 for another would be another possible option, but that would be a lot easier if I already had the TV for it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Going through the last three or so pages, just want to comment on some stuff.
- Sony is NOT charging consumers for patches/updates in regards to 4K, HDR, etc. Sony is however charging the publishers for patches/updates which is normal and standard already so it's not a big deal. Besides, publishers have plenty of cash and they should be spending some of it. Us consumers spend enough already and if anything, probably spend too much.
- Sony NOT allowing MODS for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remastered is beyond ridiculous. First, Sony declined to host EA Access (which has to do with PS Now as Sony didn't want EA Access overshadowing their own PS3 service. Hell, im not a fan of EA but even I know that EA Access is better than PS Now). Second, they declined to release Ark despite hosting Paragon (cough*publishing deal*cough) and now, the decline MODS for two HUGE games. I disagree 100% with their decision as it's stupid and makes no sense.
- I said six months ago that NEO/PRO was a horrible idea and it still is but it is what it is. I don't think that the backlash and negativity would be as bad if it had a UHD BR drive and if they showed better comparisons at the press meeting instead of just talking about 4K for 30 minutes.
- For those who didn't notice any differences at the Meeting, don't worry neither did anyone in attendance simply because Sony forgot to "flip the switch" to HDR. LMAO!!! You can watch Digital Foundry's below video to see that there's a HUGE difference when HDR is turned on. The second video is for Horizon which I haven't watched yet.
- As for me, im going all in. Will be buying a 4K HDTV with HDR (most likely the Samsung 9000...good ratings overall at rtings.com) the week before Gears of War 4 gets released since I own an Xbox One Slim. I figure that since I already have one of the two 4K HDR consoles, why not get both? The UHD BR drive SHOULD be in the PRO but that's a non-factor for me because im more into TV shows than movies and either way, I wouldn't buy 4K UHD Blu Rays anyway so it doesn't matter to me personally but again, Sony screwed up as for $15, it SHOULD be in the PS4 PRO.
Another factor is that I'll most be selling my current Samsung 1080P Series 550 HDTV for $200 and the base PS4 for $200 so that will lessen the cost. Add in the $150 bonus that I'll get from my newest Credit Card once I spend $500 in three months (which will easily be hit later this month) and that's $550. I'll basically be getting the PS4 PRO and the 4K UHD TV for around half price when all is said and done so I can't pass on that. Plus, I have no interest on purchases for 15 months so screw it, Christmas and Tax Refund time both came early and at the same time. LOL.
The last deciding factor is this - all the first party exclusives (Horizon, Days Gone, God of War IV, etc.) will obviously be taking advantage of the increased GPU 4K/HDR capabilities and since im buying the majority of those first party games anyway, I want them to look their absolute best. Also, Ubisoft is behind PRO and they're my favorite developer, publisher and go to company. Ubisoft has confirmed that Watch Dogs 2, Steep (only game that I have no interest in), For Honor (hell yeah!!!) and Ghost Recon Wildlands (hell yeah again!!!) will take advantage of the increased GPU, 4K, HDR capabilities.
I know that Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be taking advantage of the PRO's capabilities.
Add in Rise of the Tomb Raider which actually had THREE different options that can all be selected in game on the fly. If games are like this, I can't lie.....im super hyped.
All I need is Take Two Interactive to confirm that Mafia III will be taking advantage of the PRO's capabilities and I'll be in GAMING HEAVEN!!!
As for Scorpio, regardless of what that turns out to be, it's over a year away and I don't play favorites to any company (well, except for Ubisoft, lol) so if that's worth buying, I will do so. And if I do, im already setup for the console since I'll already have my 4K UHD TV with HDR.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah, it's talked about in the PRO Digital Foundry video where the guy who was watching live mentions that he didn't notice any differences and later on found out that it was because HDR wasn't enabled. Probably more technical than that but funny nonetheless.Comment
