I am reading some forum posts around some sites. Some people have called Best Buy to try and confirm. I just called my local best buy and he said "can't confirm without having the box in front of me but the headset should be included in the box."

I pre-ordered just in case. Some people online think it is a listing error.

If it is legit, it has to be one of the best console deals ever, at least for the PS4. The only thing I could think of is maybe Sony trying to win some goodwill back for not having a UHD player? That headset is 160 bucks and I dunno if it even gets standalone release until November or December.

I watched bits of the Horizon video, and I watched the entire first video though I was reading some UFC news at different spots so I may have not absorbed everything said.

Around the 18:40 mark of the first video they start talking about how "downscaling the frame buffer" or something like that can lead to enhanced "brute force anti-aliasing" to greatly enhance picture quality of 1080p gaming on Pro. Or something like that, I need to listen to the whole thing again.

Sounds like a $400 bundle. If there's no "price subject to change" anywhere, you guys considering it should jump all over it before they change it. That's just a stupid amount of value.

Yeah I figure worst scenario I get a console I wanted anyway, and maybe they throw in a deal for people that were misled by the ad.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I am crossing my fingers its a legit deal

Might be the best/craziest console deal I've ever seen.

I found a website that shows the headset with a. release date of 9/15/16. Not sure how much weight this carries but it made me snag one.
Had to jump in on this as it is a no-brainer.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I am crossing my fingers its a legit deal

I have no desire to get the Slim since I already have a PS4 but I hate my Uncharted one and that platinum headset is awesome and I was going to buy it anyway so I might just pre-order.

uncharted 4 bundle for $300 with a brand new headset that comes out on Thursday which retails for $160? That makes the console $140 with the game. Of course, this is the base model so Sony definitely wants them cleared out. And while it wasn't by much, Xbox One outsold PS4 in August so that's another reason as im sure Sony wants to stop that momentum. Either way, that's a great deal.

It's not the base as in OG if that's what you mean, it's the Slim

I was gonna get my dad a Slim anyway for his birthday... He doesn't have to know there was a Platinum Headset in the box

Not inventory clearing, this bundle includes Uncharted 4, the PS4 Slim, and the new Platinum Headset.

You're welcome. And it seems like the Pro really does make an impact. For me, it's not the 4K resolution that im hyped about, it's the HDR capabilities that im hyped about. Can't wait!!!

I dunno if Best Buy has some lingo hidden on their site somewhere to cover their butts but I pre-ordered, paid in full (obviously, you have to with BB online), and on multiple spots on the product description it says PS4 Slim, Uncharted 4 physical copy, and platinum headset.

If it was a mistake would it have been corrected by now?

Hopefully we all just got the deal of the year, lol

Some people online say they were told its legit by BB, another couple people said they were told it was an error. Who knows who is telling the truth anyway, or if BB reps can even tell for sure yet. I have no idea what to expect. Considering I can turn around and flip UC4 if I wanted to (probably gonna play it through again though), the deal makes sense for me anyway, even without headset.

If it were a mistake it would have been corrected by now. The terms of the preorder are pretty damn clear... My BBY manager can expect a real rough go of it if they think I'm walking out of the store next Thursday with anything less than what's described in my preorder.

I like your style. I am a big wuss in real life and will probably just give them a sad look and ask nicely for like a gift card or something, lol. I'm with you.

Curious to see if the lightbar on the touch bad is distracting at all
