I have a question for everyone, where was your PS4 manufactured?

Mine says Hongfujin Yantai China, September 2013.

Is that the only place they manufacture PS4s? Or are there others?

Was reading that all the failed PS4s came out of that Hongfujin Yantai plant.

Same place and date for me. Haven't had a single issue with with mine yet.

Yep, The Hongfujin Yantai plant is where the college interns who were treated poorly made the PS4s between August and September and said "We will not treat PS4s well, they can be turned on at best"

Amazon PS4 here. No real problems although it did freeze on me once. I've also had the BF4 corrupted data problem several times, but I don't think that is a PS4 issue.

I'm loving it so far. I realize the network has some high volume so I'm gonna be patient for a while & hope it becomes a little smoother, especially with BF4, such an awesome game.

It is extremely small, there is a long, rectangular indent that is off to the right when you have it flipped. You might needed a flashlight or light off your phone to read it.

I hate to say this..but I'm pretty disappointed so far. I think it's just the lack of a go-to game. I have ACIV, Killzone, Madden, LEGO Marvel and 2K but I'm constantly switching between games. Nothing is really grabbing my attention thus far. I'm probably most into Madden - but my ego has taken a pretty big hit as I can barely eek out wins on default Pro now, lol.

Graphics are good, but there just doesn't seem to be any substance. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but this isn't quite it. I'm not ready to give up though; it is only week one.

I am starting to think that all the PS4s were made in the same place, and maybe something like late August and early September are defective, and mid to late September PS4s are fine after some employees were fired or something.

I'm sure we will hear more about this.
