Been trying to sway them to pick up The One and they won't budge. 75% of the guys on my friends list I don't even know. I just added them for the heck of it to have friends. Childish I know.
So now I have 2 Destiny bundles and 1 Xbox One. Not sure what I'm gonna do. Why don't some of you mofos go pick up The One and balance this thing out some?
In the next week or so I'm gonna settle on 1 system and ride it out. It won't be before Thursday that's for sure with Live and EA Early Access.
1) Congratulations on winning that bundle.
2) Considering the fact that you have TWO PlayStation 4 Destiny bundles, why not sell one of them if it's still sealed to get either credit or cash that could go towards games?
OR you could sell both of the Destiny bundles and just stick with Xbox One.
3) My advice would be to keep Xbox One and at least one of the Destiny bundles because having all three consoles (Wii U being the third) is the best way to go because eventually, you'll want to play games on the console you don't have.
In short, nothing wrong with owning both an Xbox One and PS4.Comment

The Wii U might be a possibility. My daughter has been asking so I might do some type of trade.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Exactly why I ride out a console generation with one system every time, lack of time and money. I was 360 only last time. I just ignore everything that comes out on the other one. I literally knew nothing about updates to The Show this year and loved it. Same with with other PS only games that I may have missed. This gen I pay no attention to the XB1. When we do another generation change, I'll weigh my options and go with what system suits me best. You can't go wrong with either.
Best advice a person could get right here. Thanks EG

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Anyone getting hiccups on PSN since it went down for a bit last week?
Ever since that weird little outage, my PS4 has had problems connecting to my router. I never had the issue before but it really started Friday. It wouldn't be able to find my router - would say my signal is too weak but then it would be fine. Kept booting me out of Destiny under 'caterpillar' error code.
Maybe it is just me and it is time for a new router.Comment

I think the best option if possible is to try both and then make a decision. This gives you the opportunity to try them out both and see their strength and weaknesses. If you decide to sell one of them you won't lose much. As oppose to only trying one console and missing out on other things the other console may offer that you may like. Every console gen I always went with both and ended up using one console more than the other. Last gen I played mainly the 360. This gen I started with the ps4 and and I enjoy it, but I got the one a couple of months later and ended up enjoying the one more than the ps4. I still have both and I'm glad I got both so I could try them out first hand and see for myself what each console has to offer.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Some info regarding SharePlay and Music Player.
Somehow it dampens the level of excitement. Hopefully they'll be resolution before The Show 15 hits because I miss it.
The Share Play feature, which is built into the party chat app, will also follow the rules below:

You can be in a Party with 8 people, but Share Play can be done only with one of them at the same time. The rest of the Party won’t be able to see the screen, but will still be able to chat with host and guest.

When the host is visualizing any other screen than the game being shared, the guest is shown a “stand by” screen.

The Share Play time is limited to one hour, and the remaining time is visualized in the Party screen, but you can start a new session immediately after the one before expires.

Certain games may have scenes that cannot be displayed during Share Play.

While you use Share Play, livestreaming and remote play are not available.

The guest cannot save video clips and screenshots during share play.

There’s some more info also about the USB Music Player app:

It’s not possible to copy music files from USB to the internal hard disk of the PS4.

The tile of the USB music player will be shown exclusively if the connected USB storage has a “Music” folder. Also, it cannot be used at the same time as Music Unlimited.

Tracks played by the music player won’t be heard while livestreaming and in videos recorded by the PS4.

If you’ll want to start a Share Play session as a host, you’ll have to press the “Share” button, which will lead to a series of menus to set it up. You’ll be able to invite another player in the same party chat directly.
There are three modes of operation:

Display host’s game screen for visitor: the host has control of the game.

Visitor plays instead of the host: the visitor has control of the game. For this particular mode only the host needs to have a PlayStation Plus subscription active.

Host and visitor play together: both host and visitor can control the game. Only for this particular mode both host and visitor need to have a PlayStation Plus subscription active. The visitor will automatically log out from the PlayStation 4 of the host at the end of the Share Play.

I think in a year or 2, Photo Mode will become standard for every PS4 game. It really should be.Comment
