Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
What am I missing?
I got to level 5 last night. Its a fun little game. A lot more going on for it than Secret Ponchos. It seems like it could get old quickly, but I liked all the maps I played on and the customization options are great.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Played Loadout last night, and DAMN if this game isn't fun. I'm currently going through the campaign mode to get me some blutes and some spacebux for my weapons before heading into MP.
IMO,this is probably one of the better F2P games, right up there with Warframe....another game I thoroughly enjoy.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Maaan, it's such a good game.. I'll probably pick it up again for $30. I heard they didn't improve it as much as some other "upgraded" games (Tomb Raider, Last of Us, Grand Theft).. but that game is just straight up fun to play.PSN: jaydazzle

For anyone who's played Pier Solar HD, how frequent are the random battles? Thanks.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So I tried to strike lightning at a different Best Buy, and it turned out alright. I price-matched the Sears DS4 promotion for $29.99. The only downfall was they had but one of those kinds of controllers, so instead of the three I originally tried to get, I am still satisfied with this light compromise.
I also must remind others of the glory that is Remote Play. Tried it with COD:AW last night when I first got it, and it is just very smooth. Not 60 FPS, but it felt like even less lag than any of my other games. Must be the responsiveness of the game itself. Extremely playable, much like my old LCD. The true test will be with The Show 15, one which I don't think I'll win after trying it with SharePlay.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It has some camera/control issues that need to be ironed out, but overall it's fun and the violence is hilarious.
For me it will die if I can't progress without spending money. IF I can slowly get decent weapons/loadouts it will be like team fortress 2 without the unplayability due to lag (I hope that game gets re-released though)Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Bingo. Hit the nail on the head. You can't fragment your user base by making it so that some parts of a PvP game can only be obtained using real money. If it's possible to play more and grind to get the same things that pay to win gamers get, then it'll be fine. If not, it'll die off with barely a whimper.Favorite Sports Teams

The weapon parts can easily be had with Blutes from the in-game store,so no need for money here.
Not sure if this dude is a dev (sounds like it) but this is what was said at the Loadout forums.....
The parts are not Spacebux only. You can go to the store and buy the exact same parts for Blutes or Spacebux. We just ran out of time and could only get the spacebux purchasing directly from weaponcrafting working. It isn't meant to be deceptive. We were just trying to make that flow easier but ran out of time. The blutes purchases directly from weaponcrafting should be added in a later update.Last edited by Kramer5150; 12-17-2014, 07:18 PM.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment
