Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Disagree completely, I don't have any interest in those games in regards to buying Rainbow Six...If you don't want it until January then don't buy it until then..if it needed more time (or needs more time) they will give it..Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Bundles wise, PS4 had the Batman bundles this past June, the Destiny bundle gets released on September 15th and announced the other day, Star Wars Battlefront bundle was announced for November 17th. The only other bundle expected which is still a rumor is Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Price drop wise, with rumors that Morphes will release in early 2016, it's also rumored that Sony will announce a price drop during their press conference at Paris Games Week in October but my prediction remains the same - next year's E3 with PS4 dropping to $300 skipping the $350 price tag completely. As for Morpheus, first, they should stay away from early 2016 as I wouldn't want to take the focus off of Uncharted 4 (which is pretty much guaranteed to have a bundle at launch) or Street Fighter V in March and April respectively.
Also, to me, any peripheral needs games at launch. No games equals dead on arrival. Demos aren't going to cut it. Announcing a PS4 price drop at next year's E3 to $300 while also announcing a release date and price for Morpheus would be the best move in my opinion. I would release Morpheus in September 2016 for $200 with demos packed in. Games that are worth buying Morpheus for have to be available side by side at launch. My guess would be No Man's Sky (which is why it's slipped into a 2016 release) and Ark. Those two games would definitely make Morpheus a lot more appealing for those who are interested in VR. I would also expect a 2016 holiday bundle with both PS4 and Morpheus for $400.
With Uncharted 4 still scheduled to be released in March 2016, I don't see why Sony would cut the price of the PS4 when that bundle would sell for $400. Right now, there's no reason for them to do so. The only mistakes that Sony has made thus far regarding bundles is that they decided not to bring the MGSV bundle to NA and the Destiny and Star Wars bundles include a 500GB hard drive when they should have included a 1TB hard drive instead.
With the Star Wars bundle including the revised PS4 model, the game, console being custom themed for Star Wars, including a 1TB hard drive for $400 would have if anything been worth more than dropping the price to $300 would be and having just the core console.
Of course, except for what's already been confirmed, everything else is just rumors, speculation and my own personal opinion. Most people expect Sony to be aggressive this holiday season to counter Microsoft's holiday lineup but I think that they would be better off being aggressive once Uncharted 4 releases and throughout 2016. This holiday season, it's going to come down to Star Wars, COD, Halo 5 and Fallout 4. Three of the four are on PS4.
Sony is being aggressive with third parties like Microsoft was in the past but it's mainly due to the unexpected Uncharted 4 delay which I was disappointed with but I care more about the game at the very least matching Uncharted 2 for me personally and I'll be a happy gamer.
Just have to sit back, relax and like T.O. said years ago - get your popcorn ready!!!
Paris Games Week never heard of it but I do know Tokyo game show is coming up next month. I already have a ps4 but was just wondering fells like Microsoft has been aggressive with bundles and price but I now that ps4 is still out sale them by a lot but I wonder if sony continues to be less aggressive then Microsoft if that will start to change some. Yeah I hear you about next E3. I thought this year they would maybe come out with a 1TB version at least but nope. Yeah it will be interesting to see what both company's do going forward.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Sony is just less aggressive because they've hit a drought of marketable releases and that contrasts poorly with the slate of titles MS has coming. Just the ebb and flow of the console generation is all, Sony is still positioned really well.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Neither do I. Siege is on my list and I buy all my games at launch. This delay reminds me of Unity last year. A minimal delay to bullcrap people and still releases with a crapload of bugs and glitches. I'm a Ubisoft fan but I don't want them to release the game if it's not ready to be released. The majority of games this generation have been released despite needing another six months of development and testing time. Of course, if anything, us gamers have become the testers.Comment

Sony has a 1TB version. Not sure if it's available in NA yet. I'm more interested in their revised console that's all black matte and uses less power, is quieter and produces less heat. It's also less dusty.
PGW is basically Sony's replacement for not having a press conference at GamesCom. Sony has the TGS in September, PGW in October and PSX in early December. A lot of people think that they should have had a press conference at GamesCom but no reason for them to since they have three more shows to go.
TGS will be focused on the Japan based games like FFXV, FFVII remake, Persona, etc. PGW will basically be what they would have shown at GamesCom. The main show will be in December with PSX. That's what im looking forward to the most.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Those were good times. It looks like this is $20. Considering that most people on my list won't buy this, and that the other Pure titles haven't been the greatest quality, I'm not sure about buying this one.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm using AmeriCable which is a US based company. When I use calling apps through my Wifi and internet like Magic Jack my parents and friends always see a Florida area code calling. Netflix and Prime didn't work for the first 6 months I was here due to VPN issues. Now they work perfectly, but some guys I know out in town here who use Japanese based internet providers still have problems.
Japan has some interesting laws on video streaming and a lot of apps like HBO Go, Sling TV, WWE Network, etc. don't work anywhere except the US.
The way around it is usually using a VPN disguising app for a web browsers like Hola, but on the PS4 it's unavoidable. I wish I could say for sure streaming apps will work for him, but it's really just a case by case basis.Last edited by AUChase; 08-19-2015, 10:18 AM.Comment

I wouldn't buy it at $20 guys. I'll give a more robust review later but don't pay over $10.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
not sure if this is the right spot or not, I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems with their ps4 ejecting the disc often? ive tried doing the fix suggestion from sony, of unplugging and restarting, and have also tightened the screw after taking the face plate off, any other suggestions, i really dont want to send to sony and be out of a ps4 for a month or longerComment
