This. I tried it when it first came out and it was terrible IMO. Would much rather have HD re-releases of some of the great franchises.

HD remake of Sly Cooper would be my jam

Yeah I hated ps now... I love my ps4 don't have an Xbox One.... This is the first time I haven't had both in the last 2 gens.... But why can't Sony just throw the backwards compatibility chip in the new one (providing that's all it is) Xbox one people are loving the fact they can play their old games. If Sony added BC to the new ps4k they would sell alot and have a lot of rebuyers.

While ever one is different and some times as you get older things you used to like you don't like any more or you start to like things you didn't used to like. One thing I never really understood is why a game like ratchet and clank is consider a platformer in the first place. To me it is more like a action/adventure game. When I think platformer I think more of Mario, Sonic, DK ect. There are a lot of platformers I like. Ratchet and clank is my favorite sony franchise and it is a platformer. When it comes to Nintendo I love DK but my favorite Nintendo franchise is Zelda not a platformer. DKC 2 and DKCTF are both in my top like 20 games of all time played. Ratchet and clank are in my like top 30 or so games. Rayman legends is also amazing. So I like platformers a lot. I know that a lot of people like FPS but to me I couldn't care less. To me FPS are really boring and I fell like they are all the same and the whole first person thing confuses me to the point where I get lost and fall of cliffs and stuff. 3erd person to me is way better than 1st person for any game would be better if you could play in 3erd person instead.

Ratchet and Clank is not a platform IMO, it is an action game. To me a platform is a game like Rayman legends, usually side-view, characters and object scan be 3D but it's played in a linear fashion. Ratchet and Clank really doesn't fit into platformer anymore, although it seemed to start out that way.

Ratchet and Clank really doesn't fit into platformer anymore, although it seemed to start out that way.

It's technically an action-platformer, like Gex 2 and 3, Sly Cooper and Klonoa: Door to Phantomile.



But it really isn't too focused on platforming (it's level design is too straighforward and not built around platforming).

Sorry Platformer games are boring to me. I loved platformer games back on PS2. Jaxter, Sly and Ratchet n Clank were fun games on PS2 and I enjoy playing them. I got PS3 in 2008 and tried Ratchet n Clank Future of Tools, got bored of it. Tried LBP and hated it while everyone thought it was one of the games of the year. Borrowed Rayman Orgins from a friend and was really excited because I loved Rayman on Dreamcast and then played Orgins and it was fun for 10 minutes then it became really boring. Played it few more times and didn't enjoy it. I knew platformers werent for me after playing Rayman. Got PS4 in early 2014 and tried Knack and once again thought it was terrible. I dont enjoy platformer games at all, its not because Im not child its because I find them boring.





I said it was for children because I was child during PS2 era and had blast playing those games and then PS3 era came and didn't enjoy it anymore.





You guys enjoy it then thats wonderful but its not the genre for me and don't feel like I'm missing out on any platformer games because I find them boring.

I bet kids these days can't finish one of the 10 classic Mega Man games, Super Mario Bros. 1/2/3/World, Castlevania 1/2/3/4/SoTN, Gex, Ninja Gaiden 1/2/3...



The funny thing about kids games is the fact that most of the "hardcore" games, like GTA, COD, God of War, Uncharted are preferred by kids, and you could make a point about how they're made with kids in mind, especially if you think about the stupid amount of tutorials, in game guidance (c'mon, Red Dead Redemption has horses with GPS), and almost inexistent challenge.



Most kids can't finish Super Mario 3D World, but most kids can finish GTA, CoD and Assassin's Creed.

Yeah I agree that it is not a platformer like I said I think it is more like a action adventure game but I know it is consider a platformer. I agree at platformer is side view where you go from start to end of level.

I finished SMB 1, SMB 3 and SMW back in the day. Hated the U.S. version of SMB 2 but loved the Japanese version of SMB 2 but there was a long jump that I could never make in the game somewhere and never finished it. Finished Super Castlevania IV but could never beat it again. The rest I didn't play at all or I tried out but didn't like. In the case of SOTN, I wasn't into it after playing IV because you couldn't attack up or diagonal with the whip and I was like, no thanks...im tired of getting attacked from above and can't do a damn thing about it.

Agree with your opinion on the games of today and how they're looked at by kids.

I been debating getting this as I don't have cable, I just use an antenna for my local channels and Sling for the little package they have with the big plus on that is it has ESPN.

How many channels do you get with the basic package? Do they have ESPN? If you don't mind me asking

I like what I see too, only issue for it No SNY mets network as I can see. If they had it I may have cancel my cable, but I have two tv and that would mean I need to ps4, I'm can't do that

a place of the unknown.
