For me personally, it's the exclusives on PS4 which currently outnumber Xbox One 5-1, PSN games, Indie games and that multi-platform games usually run better on PS4. Also, multi-platform games that im interested in more times than not usually have PS4 exclusive content so that's a plus for me as well. EA Access is a great service but im not interested in the majority of EA's games so this service is a non-factor for me. What I really need is UBI Access.

I'm the opposite, but with Forza. Although, I've always been mainly a PS guy. I do have EA Access but I really haven't taken advantage of it.

The other factor is that my overall gaming time has diminished greatly, and the little time I do have is spent on PS4.

The backlog (on both systems) is real, lol.

This is me to a T. I own both systems; the One is used for Forza and Gears (and any other exclusives that may appeal to my interests). The PS4 is everything else.

Like you, I also have EA Access, but I don't think I'll renew. As mentioned, I buy everything but exclusives on PS4, and that includes my sports titles. I just prefer the controller and overall experience Sony provides. Right now, Access is a $30 rental program for me. So stupid that Sony passed on that service...

Both systems are great though. I'll never understand fanboys or system wars. At the end of the day, neither are so expensive that one can't eventually own and enjoy both.

What about notifications while watching VUE? Sony needs to allow us disable those while watching videos as is.

They have one check box that disables all notifications. Now I know it's a wee bit cumbersome to go in, uncheck it, watch Vue, then recheck it for games.

But would that not temporarily solve the annoyance?

I started a free trial last night and I'm not so sure about this.

I click on a tv show, and I see like 4 episodes per season, and no way to view live tv..

What is this all about? Seems like just another cheap hulu/netflix copy this way.

You can't watch regular tv shows until at least a day after as well?

You can't watch regular tv shows until at least a day after as well?

You should be able to watch the channels live, I've never had that happen to me. Try posting this in the cord-cutting thread in E&T..

Did you click on the guide? When you start the app it's the third icon from the left at the top I think. You'll then see a grid that's similar to what you'd expect from a cable provider. Channels across and time up/down

Ah thanks. I figured out the issue. My wife added it as a favorite. On the PS3 guide when you add a channel as a favorite it moves it from its alphabetical location on the guide to the very beginning of the list.

Hmmm, okay. According to Shuhei Yoshida, all PSVR games will run and can play on the current base PS4. But common sense tells us that NEO is meant for PSVR games so they can run and play to their fullest capabilities.

If the current base PS4 can run and play PSVR games to their fullest capabilities, my question would be - what's even the point of NEO? Why not just go straight to PS5?

I still think that NEO releasing this October is most likely due to PSVR. But if not, then you would have to think that the delay would be so they could increase the specs to match Scorpio. No other reason to delay NEO.

Either way, just have to wait and see. In two months from now, we should all know one way or the other.

PSVR is not even mentioned once in the leaked presentation documents for developers with Neo.

This has been talked about and hinted at to extend the generation and not having to have risky 'hard resets' for developers even before PSVR was shown.

For someone who frequents NeoGAF, I am surprised you don't pay attention more to these details pointed out by not only developers on there, but other members, when people try and drive-by with those posts.

'Common sense' is just tales from the arse in this instance.

It will improve the experience in the same way it will improve non VR experiences. It was not "made for VR". Hell, 'common sense' would tell you the majority of the talk about Neo is 4K, something PSVR is not rendering in.

Enough with that 'narrative'.
