You can swap out the hard drive but you have to reformate the hard drive. So you would still have to back up your games and files.

That's fine. I would never swap a drive without backing it up first.

Only curious if the slim drive will fit the launch.

Oh ok while I don't see why not. I haven't seen any thing that says the hard drive in the slim is any different then the normal ps4 beside being a 1TB hard drive compared to the 500 GB normal ps4 hard drive.

Well sell it on Craigslist with the 1tb as that would actually be a big PLUS to sell it rather than messing around with the drives and trading it in for less money..

I don't think it does. I think the PRO has a 1TB and the slim a 500 GB. I just saw I said 1 TB in the slim a few minutes ago but that was a mistake.

I don't think it does. I think the PRO has a 1TB and the slim a 500 GB. I just saw I said 1 TB in the slim a few minutes ago but that was a mistake.

In the UK it is available with 1TB.

You will have to reformat the drive and redownload everything. I learned that the hard way.

Or if that new app is out you could use an Ethernet cable to transfer from old to new, then change out the drives. Not sure when that's out though..

Also guys, I have two PS4s and spent a lot of time organizing my folders on my main one. I just boots up my second one and nothing is in folders so...yeah. Someone in here said it was tied to your profile but guess not...

I'd be surprised if it was synced since each system could have different games installed. Only the primary ps4 can auto download as well.

I really don't get why the make it so you have to reformat the hard drive. Its kind of a silly pointless thing. They should make it where you don't.

Does any one know when we found out the date for PlayStation experience last year? With Tokyo game show now being over PlayStation experience is like the last big game show for the year and I think that is going to the next time we really see the Spider-Man game. Also when do you guys think 4k TV's will get cheap enough that you can buy a 55-60 inch 4k HDR for around $1000? Right now I know there are some TV's around that size and price but it looks like those TV's are the kind of middle like 7/10 type of TV's. The top type of TV's that are like 8/9 TV's at that size tend to still cost like 2000-4000. I really want to get a 4k TV but I don't want just a ok one. I want a really good 4k TV and I am still trying to get moved out and my life together.

So after playing a significant amount of 2k yesterday, I am very impressed with the Slim. Ran very quiet and didn't seem like it was working hard at all for a massive game.
