Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So if you could pick 1 game that has not been confirmed yet to get pro patch what game would it be? I would say batman Arkham knight. Knight is already one of the best looking games this gen and I can hardly imagine just how awesome it would look in 4k and with HDR. Heck I am most likely not going to even get a pro and still have a 1080p TV but I do think I am going to get a 4k TV soon and even if I don't have the pro if I get a 4k TV it would be awesome to just have HDR for knight.
I know a lot of people want Bloodborne to be supportedLast edited by The JareBear; 11-06-2016, 12:21 AM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Digital Foundry did a test of an earlier build and were disappointed about the unstable frame rate on both vanilla and pro. They said the developers advertised 60 but it never really hit that. It was so unstable that they were thinking a locked 30 would be better. Early build, but not that early.
That's my concern with what developers are doing with the pro. They had a clear opportunity to improve the frame rate with more power and they didn't. They went with a higher resolution. Who gives a **** about resolution if you're dropping between 30 to 60 fps while walking around?Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
This is really how it should be done.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/11/04/infamous-second-son-first-light-showcase-power-of-ps4-pro/When we started working on PS4 Pro, we knew the Infamous titles were going to be an amazing showcase for HDR and 4K resolution. If you played either of the games, you know that Infamous Second Son and Infamous First Light were a spectacle of vibrant superpowers and explosions inside a rainy Seattle cityscape.
Thanks for pointing this out JamzDance. I failed to mention in the post above, but we did include a performance option. You can choose either “Better Frame Rate” or “Higher Resolution”. Default is set to the higher resolution option.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
GTA5, Witcher 3 (I own it on PC but I would love for the console guys to get a boost. ALSO, I know it is confirmed to NOT be getting a patch, just saying if I had my pick), or Neverwinter. I love Neverwinter on PS4 but it could use a performance boost IMO. Madden would be cool, too. Arkham Knight Pro patch would make me go back and play that one again too
I know a lot of people want Bloodborne to be supported
I have not played Bloodborne but heard a lot of people say they would like it to be patched.

Not pro but that frame rate issue reminds me on what I have heard about when it comes to batman return to Arkham. DF did a video of return to Arkham and it sounds like city indoors runs around 60 FPS but ever where else is a mess and it sounds like asylum goes any where from 30 down to like 20 with a lot of 25 and a lot of drops when just walking around.Comment
