Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah, this stuff is hard to wrap my head around sometimes. I posed this question to Rtings about my specific model and will wait to see what they say but I have a feeling someone's previous assumption is correct.
On a positive note, BF1 looks awesome and I read that they haven't even pushed out the 4K patch yet. Can't wait to see what it looks like after that.
The KS8000 is a popular one because of the low input lag.
Sony has a television as well and there are others.
You have to do your research because HDR on some tv's basically makes the picture dark and adds input lag ala higher ms count.
There are some just fine for gaming, and others awful for that reason.
OLED's look great but are awful for gaming too.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Man, the things being discussed in this thread are completely over my head.
I just take a console, hook it up to the TV, and play.....I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
60 fps games are more responsive and smoother. It matters in most games, especially when timing is important. COD and The Show target 60 fps not because it's easy, but because it mattersComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah I don't get it I cant even tell the difference at all between 60 and 30 and from what I have heard a lot of people cant tell the difference either yet all I hear is 60 fps 60 fps lol. Heck you talk about over the show forums and the show has been proven to run at 60 fps since like 09 yet you have people over there that complain about fps issues lol.Comment

(racing games are probably the sports genre most affected by this debate since you have all the background and off-track stuff flying by - see DriveClub)
I'm not going to hash that whole argument about the Show out again in this thread (and this is the only time I'll post about it here), but there were times during gameplay that looked more like the left side than the right. And when it goes back and forth between the left and right side of that video, it's jarring.
That's what we're hoping the Pro fixes.Comment
