Nope. I know several guys, and that's the first I've heard of it.

I thought, originally that this was just for 4K sets and I don't have one yet so wasn't worried but talked to some folks on Facebook and have found out it happens with PSVR and just regular HDTVs.

I know these issues can go from being relatively minor to OMG the sky is falling when people get to talking about them so I'm just wondering if any of you cats here who have PS4 Pro have had such issues?

Wasn't this about the type of tv used?

That's what I said on Facebook and people said it affected different tvs but not just the 4Ks.

Heck, to be honest my PS4 Pro will be in the living room and the main thing I do there is PSVR and was hoping even if it did affect my tv it wouldn't matter because it wouldn't affect the PSVR but the guys in the PSVR channels said it had been doing it on their PSVR screen as well (in addition to their TV).

Well I'm going to set up my PS4 Pro tomorrow evening and then play it extensively on Thursday so I'll report back.

It's nice that, at least so far, most of you guys haven't had any issue as maybe it's not as "SKY IS FALLING" as some of the folks online I've read about have made it out to be..

Any help is appreciated. I've had my PS4 since launch so no warranty. For over a year I've had the random eject with 3 beeps but usually unplugging it fixed it for a while. Now it happens all the time and even just starts beeping for no reason. You can imagine how annoying this is. Customer service was a joke. Any fixes for this issue? Google sounded like it happens quite often. Considering just selling it and getting the Pro.

My son's launch unit was doing this so I went on YouTube and found a video were they show you how to take the cover off and there a small chip on the board you put a small piece of electrical tape on it and it disables the eject button. You will have to use your controller to eject disc from now on but it works. It's allot simpler than it sounds took me 10 minutes and I cleaned the system while I had it open.

I've been having these signal issues daily with my PS4 Pro and Vizio. However, it also happened with my regular PS4 as well. The picture will go black for about 7-10 seconds, and then it'll be fine for the rest of my play time. Doesn't happen ever with my Xbox One, and I can't find a resolution to the problem.

May be the tv you think as that's the common denominator? Have you tried it with another television in your house?

There's an issue on some TV brands with HDCP 2.2. The workaround is to reboot the Pro in safe mode and manually change HDCP to 1.4.

I had to do that for my LG. A couple of weeks after Pro launch day, LG put out a firmware update to fix it.

I've experienced this with my LG 4k and ps4 pro as well. I updated tv firmware around Nov 15 but didn't help. Still running ps4 in hdcp 1.4 for now. No issues but when I take the ps4 to work and hook it to my regular hdtv there it sometimes resets hdcp to auto. I have to reset to 1.4 or I get black screen once home on lg. Is the firmware from lg fairly recent?

So if I'm not using a 4K tv with my Pro and I experience this issue I should just be able to do the workaround and not worry about using HDCP 2.2 correct?

I plan to buy my 4K tv in March or April so I'm sure by then this HDCP issue will be resolved..

First time I ever hear about this. I heard LG tv's were having issues but heard LG was patching that problem. I've never experienced any of this at all. I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Make sure your new 4K TV has HDCP 2.2 HDMI ports and you'll be fine. It's not a Pro issue; a lot of older 4K TVs only support 1.4. I had that issue with my A/V receiver so I bought a new one that supports the 2.2 standard and am now gaming in pure bliss.

For my LG, the firmware update came out maybe 2-3 weeks after the Pro. HDCP 2.2 works for me after the LG update.

If you're using the Pro with different TVs and it resets the HDCP, you can also just turn HDCP off.

For me, I couldn't get a picture at all. So I don't know if the picture cutting in and out is the same thing I was experiencing. But if you're having trouble, it's worth changing the HDCP setting to see if it works as a workaround.
