I've got 2 seagate 4TB externals for my xbox and PS4 , no issues at all.

I just saw this game made by some of the old Rare people. Not sure what to make of it but music sounds nice though. I will keep a eye on it going forward.

Days Gone reviews are going about as I expected. Preordered the game many months about before my GCU expired just in case. Looks like I will be returning my copy over the weekend.

I was on the fence but what I’m reading about the environment itself as far as the open world has me holding off for now.

Sony dominating their fiscal 2018 year and that's with the PS4 Spider Man base bundle at $200 for a limited time. Imagine if they just lower the console itself to $200 which is huge possibility this coming Fall as it appears Sony will be releasing a super slim PS4. And no PS5 through March 2021. So April 2021 at the earliest but like I said, it's going to be the Fall with an outside chance at September 2020. I'm fully expecting Sony to return to E3 in 2020 so it would be stupid for them to release PS5 before then.

I am caught choosing between PS4 and Xbox one. Has anyone seen the edge of each option? which one would you choose?

I don't have a xbox so I cant speak for that side I do know ps4 has the best exclusives game with several must play games regardless of the type of games you enjoy.

Whichever has the games you want to play and most of your friends own that system is typically the right answer here.

                          Where do your friends play?

What exclusives do you like the best?

Which service (Games with Gold or PS+) offers better quality freebie games?

Do you care about baseball games?

Those are typically some good questions to help you decide.

To be perfectly honest, if possible, I would say wait until year's end and here's why - rumors about a super slim base PlayStation 4 for $200 and the Xbox One Slim will be around the same or less come the holidays. So for what either would cost you now, you could probably get both if you're patient and wait.

If you're intent on buying a console now, first and foremost, do you have a 4K HDR TV? If not, you could probably snag the PS4 slim or Xbox One Slim for $200 plus tax if you're patient and look for a deal. If you do, it depends on your gaming preferences. If you're a single player gamer, PS4 because you not only get all the third party games but you also get the Japanese exclusives like Nioh, Yakuza, Judgment, Granblue Fantasy in 2020 (JRPG) and others as well as the best first party exclusives in the industry from Sony.

If you're mainly an online gamer, then I would choose Xbox One simply because their online infrastructure is simply superior but if you constantly play with your friends online, then you would probably want to go with whatever platform they're playing on.

I Doubt there are going to be a slim model of either the Xbox one Or PS4 at this point, the new systems look to becoming at years end next year, and the All digital Xbox is realizing this month. Doesnt and wouldn't make sense.

Xbox One Slim will most likely stay as is but Sony is reportedly trying to make the base PS4 smaller, save on cost and then lower the price to $200. Three years after the original slim, a newer slim wouldn't surprise me at all especially since they've done it with PS2 and PS3.

The SAD edition (lol/smh) will probably be on sale for $150 like others have mentioned so for $350 plus tax, the possibility could be there to snag both at year's end.

Next gen consoles mean nothing in regards to releasing a new revision for this generation. Microsoft released the Xbox 360 E console in summer 2013 and was revealed at their E3 2013 showcase while Sony released the Super Slim PS3 the previous year with the AC III bundle. So while I think a smaller Xbox One is highly doubtful, I believe that a super slim PS4 is very likely.
