Eden Tomorrow's been in development for 3 years. A demo has been released in Australia and Europe with hopes that a release in the US should be soon. They've named this "Launch Trailer", which sounds confusing for just a beta release however, there's lots of high expectations in this story-driven game and the feedback on the graphics have matched the trailer's quality. Something to keep an eye on.

What to look for in Ace Combat 7 VR;

Before actually boarding your fighter jet, the Project Aces team placed a tangible importance on convincing the player that you’re about to experience something wholly unique in an alternate reality. You’ll get an up close and personal look at your aircraft, see your maintenance crew wave you off into the wild blue yonder as you approach takeoff position, and experience 360 degrees of freedom as you fly above the clouds.

The biggest difference when playing in PS VR is the amount of awareness you have to exhibit. You’ll constantly be looking around your cockpit to note your position and the position of your bogeys — make sure to watch your six! The other benefits of the PS VR cockpit view include seeing your ammo count, radar, flares and damage done to your aircraft.

Immersion is the name of the game here! Indicators, gauges, switches all move in real-time as they would in an actual aircraft cockpit. Same goes for the pilot, you’ll see his hands grasp and move the stick as your jet accelerates and decelerates or moves left and right. Your pilot’s legs move left and right as you yaw with the pedals and you’ll notice other small details such as the pilot’s oxygen mask.

Bought these lens covers, took 3 weeks to get them, they easily pop in. They protect your PSVR lens from scratches, cost around $60

Well, I jumped into ACE Combat last night. Bypassed the story mode and went straight into VR. Looks like I'm going to need further fly training and gain more of my VR legs. Didn't do good. Crashed multiple times into the sea and probably went 45 mins long before having to rip the headset off of my head due to motion sickness. Next time I play, it won't be on a full stomach of red hot chicken wings recently ingested....LOL. But, from what I did play, WOW! Looking down at the ocean, swirling through the clouds, dodging missile attacks. It was an amazing experience. I'm going to love free flying.

Can't say this enough about Moss. Loving it. The puzzles are well thought out, the immersion and graphics are excellent and you even get to high five a mouse!

Playing ACE, Moss, Firewall, and downloading Eden T Demo for this weekend has me mumbling these words, "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow"

About The Game

Blunt Force is a thrilling VR WW2 game that follows two parallel storylines before and during the war. First one reveals spy’s secrets. Main hero – Jean De Meyer – is working for His Majesty intelligence service. His role is to infiltrate and find the mole inside the local structures. The task is not easy, every conversation with “friends” could be the last one. He will be forced to solve the riddles, play in mind games, connect all the dots and find who is worthy of our trust. Second storylines explore the same locations but touched by the finger of war. As a soldier, fighting in World War 2 Jean encounters Nazi platoons. This combat trial stretches his body and mind. The brutality of enemies and death awaiting on every corner ruins a psyche. But our goal has the highest possibility. But on the other hand, it’s also a chance – he can solve old mysteries and find the truth.

The game has two modes - arcade and challenge. That applies to both layers of gameplay, peaceful levels where Jean solves the puzzles and war, where the main character is using a huge arsenal of weapons. Arcade mode in the first layer offers many tips. The game itself is helping to move plot further. However, if you are feeling confident, pick the challenge and face the enigmas without any aid. Shooting experience is one of the most enjoyable parts of the Blunt Force. Arcade path gives plenty of simplifications - your role is to control enemies at the battle arena and focus on aiming. Challange is a real game changer. The weapon needs to be held appropriately, even operation of reloading is a true test of our skills. Enthusiast of authentic mechanics will love that.

Blunt Force is developed by Monad Rock. Formed in February 2018, a polish game-dev studio, created by 20 passionate professionals. The group has significant experience in the gaming industry and now decided to probe still unexplored areas of Virtual Reality. It is the second project of Monad Rock.

Starting to get better at Ace Combat. There's so many reasons to enjoy vr missions over regular flat games but the biggest is the head tracking IMO. Locking on enemies, tracking your target with the movements of your head just feels exhilarating. LOL
