So when it comes to Zelda and reviews so far i think i have seen a 20/20, 10/10, 94/100 and 98/100 scores for BOTW and with what gamespot is saying i think it is going to get a 10/10 from them and they tend to be harder to impress a lot of times now then a lot of other reviews.

I bet it's still $299. Nintendo products don't generally discount.

That is what scares me but at the same time gamecube did get some price cuts. But then again wii u is only $50 cheaper then it used to be even with its bad sale numbers. You would think Nintendo would have cut the price more with how bad the wii u sold. Like why not cut the price more if you were Nintendo so you could have maybe sold 20 million Wii u's instead of like 13-14? Even more so with Switch coming out why not cut the price on the wii u over the last several months to get rid of what was left in stock before switch came out instead of never saying them and just having left over stock? It would be like not cutting the price on a tv when the new ones start to come out. Just stupid to not cut the price.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Like I said..****SHED.
Definitely a shame because if Nintendo would have waited until September, the overall package would be so much better and more enticing plus the wait between Zelda and Mario would have been minimal.
If I can pick up one on Friday, I will just so I know I have it and if not, I'll just wait. It's not like I don't have any other games to play. LOL.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Price wise, $300 would be a good price if PS4/Xbox One launched this past November but they didn't. I'm fully expecting the PS4 Slim and Xbox One Slim to drop to $200 come November with the PS4 Pro dropping to $300 and Scorpio being $400.
If all of that happens, that's where the problem is for Nintendo. Even with Mario for the holidays, $300 compared to the above doesn't look good at all and if anything, looks obsolete. The only thing Nintendo has going for it is that it's a hybrid console but one positive simply isn't enough.
Shame too because I love the idea and concept but thus far, the execution sucks.Comment

If rushed was a censored word it would have been in both your second post as well as mine, plus it stars out the censored word so whatever you actually typed was too long to even be the word rushed.Comment

How does the Xbox One S with a 4K player built in sell for $229? Because Microsoft knows that they take a loss on the hardware in order to advance the system, get it installed into peoples houses and sell licensed software and peripherals.
Nintendo is too stubborn to adapt and if it goes the way of Sega then that will be the reason why. They need to take off their blinders. And if you're a diehard Nintendo fan then you are not doing them any favors by defending them without thought and burying your head in the sand.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
So close.....can't wait!
How do I justify the price? I buy 1 to 2 less PS4 or Xbox One games a year I know I'll never play more than a few hours. That's $60 to $120 savings. Heck, I've already passed on 3 games this year I normally would buy on hype and impulse.

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Just stating the price is still $249 in it's current state. Don't expect a price drop from Nintendo.
I don't think $300 is a terrible entry point. If they create a holiday bundle for $299 with Mario/Zelda they will probably be OK sales wise. Zelda is going to be at an initial console mover with the reviews that are coming out.Comment

Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
Just paid my preorder off at WalMart and I don't know how to feel about it. Lol. I am nervous about the issues that are currently plaguing it (joy-con, online info scarce etc.), but the thought of being able to play a full-fledged Zelda or NBA 2K in my bed or away from home is pretty intriguing.
I just hope the long-term third-party support is there. That will definitely enhance the user experience.

Normally I would say 300 to start for a new system is great because I think most systems are going to be 400 now days at the start based of just home much ever thing cost now days but the problem is that at 300 it is more then both xboxoe and ps4 and way less powerful and being new doesn't have the amount of games that those have even more so ps4. Now if they did a bundle for 300 with both Zelda and Mario I think that would be great. 2 big video game franchise games and paying the same amount you would normally pay for just the system would be great.Comment

That's my point, the Wii U still being that much is a good indicator that Nintendo still doesn't get it. Not sure why some of you guys keep pointing that out like it's a good thing.. It failed for many reasons and the price point was just one of them.
A bundle for the holidays would help a little but it needs to be more like Zelda, Mario and the Pro Controller all for $299

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017
So far Zelda is at a 98 after 46 reviews that right a 98 and both IGN and gamespot gave it a 10 and the worst score I have seen so far is 9/10 and 18/20 which is like a 9/10.

Odogg I respect you SO much on this site Countless times ive agreed with you and loved your edit work
But THIS comment?
YOU are bat stir crazy my friend
Your thinking as if 300 is a lot of money its not. Not when compared to so many things in the past or present.
I mean an iphone 7 is like 799?
Its only at a "deal" when you finagle a service provider deal and im using that as one example
But alas I KNOW we will NOT agree in this aspect
