Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017

LMAO good point...He's just so energetic and whatnot, smart enough to play, but can't trust him. If he has something he shouldn't then he'll run when you try and take it and chuck it somewhere. Doesn't have a complete grasp on value/breaking stuff, but it'll click. He's just a 3 year old boy who's crazy.

We'll love Mario Kart when it's out and he can play though...all our nephews played that incessantly.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017

I actually played Zelda on the handheld today at work but only for a few minutes. Must admit that the game looks beautiful on the handheld. Crisp and clear. Screen is definitely wider than I thought it would be. The joycons are minis. LOL. They felt good on the handheld but I don't see how anyone with big hands will be able to use them individually.

Received the Pro controller today. Just waiting on Best Buy to get the Switch back in so I can order it. Then come May, I'll pick up Zelda as May to late August appears to be dead for me in regards to new games coming out so I'll have plenty of time to play through Zelda.

Good to hear that the frame rate issues is basically here and there as opposed to it being a consistent problem.

As for reviews and the rating scale, personally I use a 0-10 rating scale with 5 literally being average and 10 being perfect with no flaws whatsoever. I know that's not how reviews and scores are but they should be especially when so many gamers consider games under a 9 to be crap. For me, if a game im interested in hits at least a 7/10, I see it as being a good game with flaws/problems. Anything under 5 for me is either bad, horrible or broken/unplayable. I just don't think/believe that any game should be given a perfect 10 score. Even my all time favorites and true classics aren't a 10 for me. Of course, it's up to each individual that's reviewing and scoring the game.Comment

My brother got the Wii U version and hooked it up to my tv while I played on the Switch and I thought the Wii U version looked nearly identical

I haven't seen the switch version in person so I don't know. I'll have to fool around with some settings i guess. It definitely doesn't look right to me.Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017

So I Finally had a little time to play Zelda BOTW last night for about a hour and i can already tell just how massive the game is hardley did any thing in a hour. All I have really done is 1 shrine because of just how massive the game is and most of that hour was just going around climbing and seeing things. I can already tell this game is better then SWS and I do like SWS unlike some people. Not sure how I would compare it to Oot, TP and ALTTP my 3 favorite Zelda games before this one.Comment

Looks that way on the switch too unless it's sunny and midday during the game. Weather effects it seems.

Really dumb question: does anything happen if you plug a USB-C phone into the dock (Pixel, Nexus 6p, etc.)?

Re: Nintendo Switch Announced, Scheduled to Release March 2017

 Oye DA HATE!!!!!

 Anyway

Got my second pair of joycons. Neon ones. They're REALLY grew on me and I wanted a second pair one that can just stay in all the time even when I switch to dock by going to some joycons real quick in a charging grip.

I love the hardware so far. Only thing is for all the hype over the controllers being detachable I don't wanna even detach em'. Kinda cumbersome. A lot of the coolness is just picking up the console right away into handheld play rather than attaching everytime

So if I have a gripe? It was that. But now that rectified with another set of neon joycons!

Let's hope they make a gamecube colored joycons set! Now that'd be nirvanaBrand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment
