Could be true especially since the game would fit in with WB's focus towards online multi-player and co-op.

It worries me because I am like a offline gamer only. Like the only thing I have ever played online is splatoon 2 and it is heck of fun but yeah I dont care for online playing like out side of that.

Yeah, me too. Only online game I want to play is Tetris 99 for Switch because I love Tetris and always wanted to play against others when I was a kid/teenager. LOL.

As for Rocksteady, according to job listings, it seems like their next game is online multi-player focused but it's not 100% certain because WB has been resetting their studios projects so who knows. Just have to wait and see.

I still have dreams of a Rocksteady game based on old school TMNT but sadly, that's probably not going to happen.

Yeah, me too. Only online game I want to play is Tetris 99 for Switch because I love Tetris and always wanted to play against others when I was a kid/teenager. LOL.

I didn't realize that Tetris 99 had online play lol. I have heard a lot of people saying they would like a TMNT game by them. I just want conformed news. Not knowing what they are doing and not knowing if retro studios is doing any thing for Nintendo out side of Metroid Prime 4 are like the two things about gaming we dont known about that are killing me the most.

Now I have a wife and kids and not as much discretionary income lol

More though that you can play everything fairly current on the current gen and the newer gen isn't as required anymore....With high prices I tend to wait and get a deal at some point.

I'm more excited about this than of the new consoles themselves. Just looking for the lowest common denominator to be raised. A boon to all gamers (unless you exclusively game on the Switch).

Aggressively priced would be just about the only thing I can think of. Talking $400 or less, which I believe is unlikely, for me to begin to consider it. Otherwise I will be content playing new Sony releases on my base PS4 in the foreseeable future.

The PS3 was $500 which was a huge mistake. That's too much money. I am not an early adapter anymore like in the old days so I waited until the base PS4 was $200 with a $50 credit from Gamestop. Might be waiting a while for the 5 to be priced like that but unless and until the machine knocks my jock off I'll wait.

The PS3 was $500 which was a huge mistake. That's too much money. I am not an early adapter anymore like in the old days so I waited until the base PS4 was $200 with a $50 credit from Gamestop. Might be waiting a while for the 5 to be priced like that but unless and until the machine knocks my jock off I'll wait.

The problem is that games on both the standard PS4 and standard Xbox One already look good enough. If you look at The Show on the Ps3 and compare it to the PS4 version, the visual upgrade wasn't that huge. I mean the PS4 looked better but not by a whole lot.

The standout graphics on the current cycle of consoles is when you get to 4K but playing games on 1080P looks pretty darn good already and that's factoring in games like Bloodborne, Horizon Dawn, Gran Turismo Sport or Forza on the Xbox. I'm going to hold off until the Pro versions are released.

Great points...especially if devs are developing so games can be played on both current gen and next gen for a while. I'll be very interested to see where the new features/things come from (maybe like ray tracing)...Just upgrading resolution and frame rate stops being as big a deal at some point.

My current pc is way stronger than PS5 so I will be good waiting.

The PS5 PRO will be the one I get because besides the exclusives the PS5 and Next XBOX ONE cannot trump my pc for multi plats

I can play the sony exclusives on PS4 PRo until PS5 PRO comes out and all my multi plats on pc except COD which I play on XBOX

PS3 60GB was 600.00..which I bought
It was day one for me mainly due to The Show.

These days I rarely turn on any consoles. Time has become more and more limited. About to dump the PS4 I think.
I will pop on PC mainly as it has the most types of game I prefer (strategy, Simulations etc..)

If I grab the PS5 (And I know I probably will) it will be after a revision and or a "Pro" system comes along.

At least that's my thinking right now.
