Guys. If you haven't already, play Astro.

It is nostalgic, fun, and gives you a GREAT example of what our new controller can do.

10/10 game. My wife and I LOVED it.

You can just plug your external HDD in and play your PS4 games off of it. You can even move the games from your external to the internal if you want to take advantage of the faster load times. As far as your psn goes thats a tough one. Im really not sure what to do there.

Thank you! Not sure why I didnt think to simply unplug the hard drive and move over whatever digital games I was going to move over. I know I'm ultra limited on capacity with the PS5, guess I'll be buying another 4TB external drive soon. Right about now I'm wishing I hung onto my old 2TB external drive. Yeah I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do about my PSN password, spent a good hour last night trying to log into my PSN phone app, put in any password I could think of to no avail.

I'm starting to wonder if I didnt request a password reset last time when I couldnt figure out my password, but I dont think my old password would be canceled as I dont have access to that email address that the password request was sent to, and if I cant open the password request email and click on it, I dont think I can reset the password, that and if I reset the password, I think my account would he locked out of my PS4 but luckily I've continued to be logged in on the PS4. Guess I'll just have to try my luck again with Playstation Support, maybe try calling and talking to them instead of using Live Chat.

I didnt realize that when you download games to your PS5 it downloaded both the PS4 and PS5 versions. I was wondering why my space was really low. I checked my storage and noticed when I installed Sackboy and Spider man that there was 2 versions (PS4 and PS5). I deleted the PS4 versions to free up space. I dont recall their being a message to choose which one to install when I bought the games via PSN.

I turned on the setting that always installs PS4 games to the external drive. It’s nice that you can unplug your external PS4 drive and plug it into a PS5 without having to do anything special.

Well, I got my LAN transfer issues worked out...it was definitely a bad (or wrong) cable. 118 GB with a 4 hour estimate is definitely using more than just my wireless network, so I know the LAN connection is there now. No database rebuild errors either - that was the cable's fault.

Interesting. I'll have to check and see if No Man's Sky did that. Edit: Nope - just the one labeled PS5.

Is there a setting where I can have the Dual Sense 5 automatically turn off after X amount of time goes by without being used? I noticed that it was still on after over an hour of transferring data from my PS4 and it wasnt plugged in.

Has anyone changed their HDMI cable? Unfortunately Sony supplies the smallest hdmi cable and I run them behind my walls since my tv is on the wall. I bought a 2.1 hdmi cable from Amazon and now my Miles Morales is supper choppy. I gotta try to see if I order a different one. Anyone else experience anything like this ?

So anyone else have games they've never played or games they have played with a ton of hours showing in their libraries. For example I've played maybe an hour of Apex Legends back when it was released but the game constantly pops up as recently played and over 700 hours on it. Another example is The South Park Game stick of truth I've never played but it has 17 hours and shows on my games list.

I change my password frequently have 2 step verification on and nobody else has used either of my consoles. Sony chat wasn't helpful and I've just tried tweeting at Sony for help (doubtful they'll be any better than chat help).
