I guess it can't be done, which is weird because I swore it was a thing. Strange.

I have my auto-downloads on so I'm no help here, but Google tells me a lot of people have the same issue where it doesn't obey the OFF setting.

Why would they even give you the option, then? Who knows? Maybe it worked at one point and Sony broke it?

Are you playing the games that are auto-downloading the updates? If a game has a new update, and you start up that game, it's always going to start that update automatically. There's no way to opt out of that.

That's exactly what's happening. For some reason I was misunderstanding you could opt out. Thanks.

The evolution in AI graphic technology that PS5 Pro will experience in next year's games. Digital Foundry does a nice job identifying what FSR4 is and what it will do. That waterfall scene that FSR4 fills in the gap.

Just after launch, AMD revealed that it was co-developed in association with Sony as part of its Project Amethyst initiative and in an interview with Digital Foundry, PlayStation lead system architect Mark <b>Cerny says that "our target is to have something very similar to FSR 4's upscaler available on PS5 Pro for 2026 titles as the next evolution of PSSR."</b>

Definitely looking forward to seeing the differences

Cerny also mentioned how they want to see Developers implement PSSR into past games. I would like to see that as well. But, we haven't seen other past games implement PSSR in older games. But, not surprised because we only seen a handful game next-gen patches for old games for the base PS5. They're are a few games I'm holding out for

i was going to wait a couple years to upgrade to the Pro but this could accelerate my schedule.

If you can get a good trade-in value super! Just an FYI....Sony most probably will match Xbox 2027 launch. The PS6 will have PSSR.

The Gaming industry is taking a beating in personnel and staff. Many projects are either cancelled or reprioritized. Everything still seems fragile at the moment.

arcade paradise is on that list I just finished it last week. It's a cool unique game where you run a retro arcade and has a story ending. The games you buy you can play and the more you play the higher the popularity is. I recommend it if you like the simulation type games. The game are mostly knockoffs of real life ones.

I don't have a VR, but I could see where that would be fun from the game side. I oddly enjoyed the laundry in the game. This is a good podcast game and relaxing type of game

I loved Arcade Paradise, an unlikely mix of laundromat simulation and arcade management, Arcade Paradise is as original as it is successful.
