I'm assuming we'll be able to, since that's how it worked for the 20th anniversary controller. I haven't seen any prices yet. If I remember right, the 20th anniversary controller was only like $5 more than the standard. But I may be remembering that wrong.

Re: PlayStation 5
I'm guessing will follow suit like the other controllers... Standard black controller is $69.99 and anything over than black is $74.99.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: PlayStation 5
The exciting thing here is that Linneman suspects the PS5 Pro may be surpassing the original PS5’s fidelity mode – despite running at double the frame rate. “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth does seem to exhibit superior image quality compared to PS5's regular quality mode while running at 60fps on the Pro,” he said. “They seem to be leveraging PSSR which looks a lot better than the generic upscaling they previously used.”

Since Sony refuses to release gran turismo 7 and MLB the show on PC I wonder how much better those 2 games will look? I ask because I also have a good gaming PC but I mainly play sim racing games and sports games. College football needs to come to pc and so does MLB the show. If that happens I’d probably get rid of my consoles and just stick to that.

Re: PlayStation 5
When a price isn't listed, you know its expensive lol. I bet $1000-1200
I'm still on the fence about the Pro. I feel confident I could sell my base Ps5 for $400. It's just forking out another $400. It's feels like a luxury(that I can afford). We're already hearing talks about PS6 and likely release window of 2028-2029. So for me, is it worth it for me spening $400 for 4 years. I most likely will. The main justification is that I'll be able to get a lot more for the Pro in 2028, than a base PS5.
Doubt you’ll get $400 for your base ps5. On Facebook marketplace you see them all the time $250-$300. Unless you get lucky but I doubt it.

Re: PlayStation 5
I say that because my Stepson told his mom how he wanted to buy a used one for $400 after he gets a few paychecks. He's big on collecting consoles, so that's why i said I'm confidentLast edited by illwill10; 09-21-2024, 06:49 AM.Comment

Re: PlayStation 5
Just finished Astrobot. It was a very good fun game. I'm not typically into Platformer-games. But, it was a fun game throughout and a ton of nostalgia. I loved the level designs and like Astro's Playroom, it was a very good showcase for the DualSense and Tempest Engine.Comment

Re: PlayStation 5
There's talks that Rocksteady might be developing a new Batman game and that Sony wants Console Exclusivity. After the Suicide Squad disaster, hopefully they go back to the single player model. It'll likely be 4-6 years before we even see the game. I wouldn't mind seeing a Re-Remaster of the Arkham Trilogy +Origins. Yeah, we're tired of remasters, but that'll be a good way to gauge fan interestComment

Re: PlayStation 5
Definitely interested the Ghost Of Yotei. I don't think it's a full on sequel. I think it's more of an Uncharted Lost Legacy expansion. But, I could be wrong. It would be 5 years after first game. But, i wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't have as much depth as the first game

What makes you say that? It will have been a full dev cycle by the time it releases, and there’s nothing in the trailer or blog to indicate a limited scope for this sequel…
If anything, I would hope for more depth than the original. I loved Tsushima, but the open world, while beautiful, felt a little shallow. I’m really hoping the sequel will have a world that feels more lived in and substantial than the original game. Maybe a few extra sim like elements, a la a RDR2.
