I'm assuming we'll be able to, since that's how it worked for the 20th anniversary controller. I haven't seen any prices yet. If I remember right, the 20th anniversary controller was only like $5 more than the standard. But I may be remembering that wrong.

I'm guessing will follow suit like the other controllers... Standard black controller is $69.99 and anything over than black is $74.99.

I would be all over 30th anniversary face plates for our OG PS5's! Too bad won't be a thing!

Since Sony refuses to release gran turismo 7 and MLB the show on PC I wonder how much better those 2 games will look? I ask because I also have a good gaming PC but I mainly play sim racing games and sports games. College football needs to come to pc and so does MLB the show. If that happens I’d probably get rid of my consoles and just stick to that.

I'm still on the fence about the Pro. I feel confident I could sell my base Ps5 for $400. It's just forking out another $400. It's feels like a luxury(that I can afford). We're already hearing talks about PS6 and likely release window of 2028-2029. So for me, is it worth it for me spening $400 for 4 years. I most likely will. The main justification is that I'll be able to get a lot more for the Pro in 2028, than a base PS5.

Doubt you’ll get $400 for your base ps5. On Facebook marketplace you see them all the time $250-$300. Unless you get lucky but I doubt it.

I say that because my Stepson told his mom how he wanted to buy a used one for $400 after he gets a few paychecks. He's big on collecting consoles, so that's why i said I'm confident

Now there's talks about a Day Gones remaster. It already runs on 60fps and looks good on the PS5. Unless it's a gauge to test the market for a sequel, these are the types of remasters we don't need to see.

Just finished Astrobot. It was a very good fun game. I'm not typically into Platformer-games. But, it was a fun game throughout and a ton of nostalgia. I loved the level designs and like Astro's Playroom, it was a very good showcase for the DualSense and Tempest Engine.

100% agree. And I am sick of remasters. But I desperately want Days Gone 2 so I will (unfortunately) suck it up and support the IP in hopes we one day get a sequel.

It seems like Legacy of Kain remaster got leaked ahead of today's State of Play.

There's talks that Rocksteady might be developing a new Batman game and that Sony wants Console Exclusivity. After the Suicide Squad disaster, hopefully they go back to the single player model. It'll likely be 4-6 years before we even see the game. I wouldn't mind seeing a Re-Remaster of the Arkham Trilogy +Origins. Yeah, we're tired of remasters, but that'll be a good way to gauge fan interest

Definitely interested the Ghost Of Yotei. I don't think it's a full on sequel. I think it's more of an Uncharted Lost Legacy expansion. But, I could be wrong. It would be 5 years after first game. But, i wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't have as much depth as the first game

What makes you say that? It will have been a full dev cycle by the time it releases, and there’s nothing in the trailer or blog to indicate a limited scope for this sequel…

If anything, I would hope for more depth than the original. I loved Tsushima, but the open world, while beautiful, felt a little shallow. I’m really hoping the sequel will have a world that feels more lived in and substantial than the original game. Maybe a few extra sim like elements, a la a RDR2.
