So is there any near future where I can reliably get a PS5? BF2042 is coming out in the fall and I'm pretty sure I'll want to get my hands on one.

Not really, the chip shortage sucks for a lot of industries. The PS5 is selling better than the PS4 did and there are a lot of consoles out there - they're just being sold quicker they can be shipped.

Strong rumors are coming out identifying Nextorage as a new Sony Company that will be releasing the m.2 SSD which seems to fit the PS5 internal SSD update requirements on July 23rd. Price is $230 which is probably for the 1TB

I have tried several times to get one. I've had one in my cart 4 times and each time when I tried to check out I got the "Sold out" notice. It's frustrating , I hope I can get one by the time Gran Turismo 7 comes out.

try the hotstock app, it alerts u when stores hv stock. Got a ps5 June 22nd(Amazon) xbox series X June 23rd(target)....ps5 July 9th(target).......actually bought my first ps5 on FB market place, met the guy in person paid $750🙄🙄🙄, didnt know about the hotstock app at the time. No im not a scalper 2nd & 3rd ps5 were for friends/family.

Make sure u have your credit/debit card saved to the store(website) & u gotta be fast, also make sure the allow notifications from the hotstock app is turned on. I have android phone & Ipad, the android notifications gets there a lil faster for me. Hope this helps & good luck

I got both systems let me tell you if you can wait then I would suggest you do, Nothing earth shattering on each system as of right now. Truth be told I played more on the Ps4 pro than I do with the PS5...

If you find one with out a hassle of course get it but don't break the bank trying to get one..

Yup more ways to become more greedy luckily I was able to get my hands on a ps5 but I do feel bad for those who will likely get ripped off by Sony in the near future..

The next time try the Walmart app. It allows you to spam the "add to cart" button. That's how I was able to get one today. And please for goodness sake, don't support the scalpers and bots. That's what makes getting one at retail so hard. The retail chain is getting more supply, just be patient you'll get one.

Sony Offering PS5 Owners An Extended Six Month Free Trial of Apple TV+

Sony today shared a new offer that allows PS5 owners to claim a six month extended free trial of Apple TV+. This offer is available only for people who own a PS5, and can only be redeemed once per PS5 console before July 22, 2022.

If you already have *Apple TV+* you can still redeem this offer, but if you subscribe to *Apple TV+* through Apple One, you won't be eligible to get the deal. You'll need to have an Apple ID with a payment method tied to the account as well.

To get the deal, search for the Apple TV app on the PS5 search bar, or in the Media home under "all apps." From there you can download the app if you haven't already, sign in with your *Apple ID*, and the six month free trial will be applied to your account automatically.

Once the six month free trial ends, *Apple TV+* will renew at $4.99 per month until cancelled.
