You know, planes do fly overhead. No hills around here either, and I'm near LAX airport so I guess that's a problem right. What else would I need?

Re: Another HDTV questions info thread
hey everyone,
i just bought a 55" rear projection hdtv widescreen tv..i have some questions..in the owner's manual in says that when you have video game displays on it , there might be permanent burned in ghost images on the television picture. does that mean i wont be able to play my xbox games on it? (halo, esn basketball, baseball, football) what have people experience been when playing video games on their projection tv? should i use widescreen or 4:3 format with videogames? also when watching tv on it, what format do you recommend best to watch it at? widescreen, panoramic, 4:3? it also says in the manual that television programming should be limited to no more than 15% of total television viewing per week.. not sure what that means..anyways, i'd appreciate some info and advice on this..thanks for your timeComment

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">Unless you plan on leaving your games on pause for a few days straight, burn-in shouldn't be a problem. As far as viewing goes...
If the game supports widescreen HD = play it in widescreen HD
If you don't have HD programming = just stick with 4:3
I would say the best tv shows to view in widescreen are the dramatic ones but most of those shows are already presented in wide (West Wing, E.R., Angel,etc...)Today I realized something. I'm a clown. A class clown... and it sickens me. - Bart Simpson (The Simpsons)Comment
