Originally posted by fsquidI enabled them all but 1080i, I didn't think there were any games that did that. I guess I should change it anyways.Last edited by Peter_OS; 11-20-2004, 12:50 PM.Comment

Originally posted by Peter_OSYes there are no games tha support 1080i. In the progressive system, 720 lines are presented to the human eye every 1/60th of a second while the so-called 1080I system presents only 540 lines. So proggresive is better than interlaced. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Another HDTV questions info thread
You guys seem to know a fair amount HDTV's so here goes........
I'm looking to buy an HDTV, been putting it off for some time now. I currently own a 32" Sony Wega which is fine but the future of TV is in HDTV so I wanted to upgrade.
I'm looking at these two TV's
42" Grand WEGA™ LCD Rear Projection
HDTV
34" Widescreen XBR® HDTV
http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INT...t_03-KD34XBR960
I know Sony TV's are pricey but I'm setting my budget at $2500-$3000 so price really isn't a problem.
Thanks for any help you can provide advance!

Originally posted by fsquidyes I did. Love it!!! Sadly the NBC and Fox affiliates in this area haven't gotten their acts together regarding their antennas, but CBS and ABC look GREAT!!
If you are a big movie guy like me, now you get the fun task of replacing all your old DVDs for the new special releases of them so you get the better transfers and anamorphic widescreen.
Glad you are enjoying it, playing video games on a small screen will never be the same.
