I bought the 37" top of the line Aquos LCD for my parents and they absolutely love it. I'm still at home, so watching it I don't see any blurred images at all versus what my buddies have to deal with on their same sized LCDs from Samsung and Phillips. The colors are incredible, pictures are very crisp, and the contrast has some pretty advanced grey/black tones. So far, not a single thing has gone wrong with it and we've had it since last Christmas. If you're interested in this technology and want something in that size, I'd definitely recommend it. I also here the 45" with 1080p is great as well, it was just too much of a price jump for as at that point.

FYI - You might want to check to make sure your HD cable box has the HDMI port active. Some boxes have them, but they aren't active.

HDMI carries the video and audio signal in one cable. It's also a 100% digital signal (as is DVI).

If it is active do the red, blue and green component cables still need to be plugged in?
