can't wait for the finale. this show is the only reason I have HBO. Monday morning, I will call comcast and have them promptly remove the channel from my lineup until January.

Ray Liotta wouldn't have been a bad Tony Soprano. Not nerely as good as James Gandolfini, but still not bad IMO.

Me and you will probably be among the Thousands who do that SoMiss2000. I love Entourage, but not at the price that HBO costs per month. I just watch the DVD's when they come out for Entourage.

I have no doubt in my mind someone reading this thread right now saw themselves in that scene with AJ laughing hilariously at the computer screen, even if they don't want to admit it.

I LOVED the scene last episode where the Tony is meeting in the Costco. If you needed any MORE proof that that show was based on the construct of commercialism and consumer culture. Nice move by the writers.

Although I've watched Goodfellows 3 or 4 times Vincent was 16 years younger, heavier, and had less of an accent than what he brings to his role in "The Sopranos". Pesci also beat up(but not to death) Vincent in "The Raging Bull", but Vincent returned the favor in "Casino" where he helps beat Pesci's character and his character's brother to near death and buries them alive in a cornfield. Vincent is good friends with Deniro and Pesci. In the film Pesci also offed Spider played by Michael Imperioli (Chritopher). "Goodfellows" also had another "Sopranos" alumni in Lorraine Bracco (Dr Melfi).

I was gonna do that too, but I need to see the Winky Wright/Jermain Taylor fight first... I'll have to see if there are any upcoming fights that are worth me keeping HBO for awhile before January.

                      After Taylor/Wright:

                      HBO “Boxing After Dark”
                      Saturday, June 24 2006
Roman Amphitheater, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada
Calvin Brock vs. Timur Ibragimov (heavyweights)
Joel Julio vs. Carlos Quintana (welterweights)
Alex Becerra vs. Raul Martinez (super flyweights)

                      Saturday, July 22 2006
Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey
Arturo Gatti vs. Carlos Baldomir (WBC Welterweight Championship)

                      HBO's "Boxing After Dark"
                      Saturday, July 29 2006
Chumash Casino Resort, Santa Ynez, California
Kermit Cintron vs. Richard Gutierrez (welterweights)
Vivian Harris vs. Mike Arnaoutis (NABO Junio Welterweight Championship

It's possibly that the Roy Jones Jr vs. Prince Badi Ajamu fight on the 29th is part of the "Boxing After Dark" package. That's the tenative scehdule for HBO "free" boxing.

David Chase lost it. I don't care if the last eight episodes are incredible, he blew it with the end of this season. The beginning had so much promise and then he goes and drops the ball. Christopher needed to die tonight and he didn't. If I want to watch It's a Wonderful Life I can watch it on NBC in December.
