Re: Sopranos Season 6
Nah.. In the late 80s back in NY, there was a great deal of racial tension... Do a google search on Yusuf Hawkins or Michael Griffith and you'll see... There was a story in the New York Times, I believe, where a reporter went to Bensonhurst (predominantly Italian neighborhood), where Hawkins was gunned down. He heard a lot of rap and reggae coming from one of the local clubs, and asked the clubgoers about it... Basically the answer was, "We like their music, but we don't want them around here." So it didn't really surprise me.Comment

Feech La Manna used the Curb Stomp to break the gardener's leg. Yeah, all he!! is going to break loose-it looks like Silvio and Tony may get into it.Comment

I'll still put season 1 as the best season but with the upcoming bloodbath and finale, that might change when it's all said and done. What an awesome show. I'm going to miss it.Comment

Re: Sopranos Season 6
AJ is a huge part of the series. AJ's relationship with his father is one of the most heartbreaking and poignant aspects of the show. The first-son of an Italian family is, like they discussed tonight, the "heart" of the family.
I think other than Tony, AJ has been the most major and interesting character. The scene where he tried to kill himself tonight was for myself maybe the saddest scene in the entire history of the Sopranos.
I think AJ has been a great FOIL for Tony in the series.
I'll see how this season ends but for me my favorite seasons, in order, have been: 3, 1, 5, 4, 2, 6 (Part 1).
I'm really looking forward to the last two episodes. Can't wait.Comment
