I like the episode overall, Dream sequence confuses me, but oh wellComment

Re: Sopranos Season 6
Great acting job by James, cause in the draem sequence he has a totally different voice. Ya i can see the dream as a way of saying not being in the family. Once he finds his identity he will come out of coma.
That was very dramatic episode seriously, I can safely say Vito is not gonna make it through this season.Comment

Re: Sopranos Season 6
great episode
the power struggle will be interesting for the next 3 episodes or so. We know Tony survives (because of the scenes that we havent seen yet that were shown in the season preview video), but he will probably be in this coma for a few episodes.
We will see where everyone's loyalties lie in the next couple of weeks. (also, AJ is probably heading towards being involved in the "business", which sucks because i cant stand that little brat)...who does Paulie shoot next week? I hope it aint Silvio, but it might be.
imo, the dream sequence is cool....in the dream, Tony is trying to find his way home, when he finds his wallet and briefcase, he will awake from his coma.Last edited by ZB9; 03-19-2006, 10:15 PM.Comment

Re: Sopranos Season 6
I don't really see AJ taking out Uncle Junior. Something will happen, either he gets caught, or he ******* out, or he messes it up.
I'm not sure exactly how it'll happen, but I doubt he'll go through with it. He doesn't seem like the brightest light on the porch. Not to mention being a POS.
What I love about it so far is how it everything is going to be tested while Tony is out. Silvio is being tested by Paulie, Vito having dillusions of grandeur etc.
Setting up to be a brilliant season.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

I personally think you're looking at it just like a "stupid dream sequence". It's not just that. It's obviously a metaphor relative to the situation. You have to look at it from different angles other than it "just being a dream sequence".
Like others have said, this has been used other times in the show. Specifically at stressful points for the characters in the series.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment
