Obviously, but who cares? This show already has a resident psychiatrist in Dr Melfi(whose sessions with the boss are getting more tiresome than entertaining) to explore the inner regions of the mind of Tony Soprano.

Great episode. The dream sequence was bad, though, in that it wasn't as complex as other dream sequences (Funhouse, The Test Dream, etc.). It yielded simple hell/death metaphors. I think the door to the steps even had "Hades" on it--I'll check during one of the repeats.

Nah, I get it. Once is enough.

How can you classify this as a great episode when half of it was the "DREAM" that you didn't like?

Yeah, f*ck it. They should show someone getting wacked again. That hasn't happened enough.

I'm not suggesting that I want more violence, and less emotion and drama. I'm sorry, but there is a bit of GOODFELLAS and THE GODFATHER in this show.

Oh yeah-paint me as the one dimensional blood thirsty SOPRANOS viewer if it makes you fell better. I like all elements of this show which include the whackings, Vito's alter ego, the power struggle, Tony's relationship with his two families, etc, etc. Sorry if I'm not deep enough to appreciate this surreal masterpiece that was presented to us tonight.

Wow that was a weird episode. At least we have the season story line.

I hope this episode isn't a sign of things to come this season. Chase seems to like to make things long & drawn out. I agree overall it was a boring episode. No I'm not looking for people to get killed every episode but to spend an entire episode on him in hospital is a lot....especially since we know there are only 18 episodes left.

tony is going to be in a coma for a couple more episodes, while the power posturing ensues (which will be very interesting)....Tony will then find his wallet and briefcase in his dream, wake up from his coma, and the rest of the season will be the ****

In the previews for next Sunday's show they show Paula firing a gun, and over the phone he is heard saying, "It's done."
