Basically, it was the first, and I hope the last "dream" episode of this season. Even though I find them extremely boring, I find them also to be filled with "nuggets" or to be a 'deep meaning' episode which makes you appreciate Chase.

As per next week I'm thinking that Tony should come out of his comma or at least begin to, and we should start to see some down-the-line "disagreements" within the "family".

Though I don't know if I'm overanalyzing into Chris' meet with the cops, but I honestly think by showing Chris speaking with the FBI, and hinting that he's "anti-terrorist", perhaps foreshadows him snitching to them as a way to getting out of the mob family and out of NJ when things become hot, or as supposedly the anticipated "World War 3" mob was between Phil(NY) and Tony(NJ).
The next scene, too, was too coincidental: when Chris' is unpleased to find the middle-eastern fellas overstaying their welcome at the Bada Bing. My reason for this thinking is that Chris is a coward, but tries to sell him off as a capo. At the wake, his comments in regards to 'Gene being a coward for taking "the easy way out", yet Chris is all about the "easy way outs".
That's a good point about Christopher. I also read that his "holywood bug" is going to come up again. Remember in the pilot he wanted to go of to LA and write scripts.

The "Annette Bening" dream last season was way to long, but I liked the way they served up the news of Tony Blundetto's killing of Billy and wounding of Philly just after Tony woke up. When Christopher arrived at Tony's hotel room with the news, you still weren't sure if Tony was dreaming.

I agree with this observation of Chris. He is definitely heading toward snitching... however I don't see him doing it in the long run. The guy had his girlfriend whacked out of loyalty to Tony, so I think he'll probably rat out those Arabs and then end up asking Tony for a way out.

        I don't see him as a coward I guess.

I dont get why Silvio is taking over. Isn't Paulie the underboss which makes him the boss if anything happened to Tony?

Silvio is Tony's consigliere. If anybody was Tony's underboss it would probably be Silvio, but I think that term only applys to a multi family syndicate-for example, before Camen's death, Johnny Sac was the underboss of his five family organization, which included Tony's New Jersey operation.

Yeah, it's just a matter of whether it's this year (season 6A) or 2007 (season 6B). Unless I'm wrong, is this the first time they've made reference to Vito being Philly's cousin? That will add a lot more weight to the gay Vito storyline. Of course it's not going to help Fatman's cause when he's going after Tony's daughter's boyfriend.
