Okay, I'm a fairly intelligent guy, but I do not at all see the political angle to "Your Glasshouse." I've tried and tried, but I fail to realize the political commentary. Am I alone? I'm very into politics and take at least one political science class a semester, but Slug's attempt at political commentary is lost on me in this song. I love the song for what it is and I don't think it needs to have a political bent in order to be great.

New The Roots album out yesterday, its not really underground, but still its decent.
I also just discovered Atmosphere and the flobots not bad at all............

Re: fans of underground rap?
Lets just say not paying for music gives the artist the benefit of the doubt.
And I took the advice of the forum and I am working my way through the 6 Atmosphere Albums. Fantastic Stuff.
The music industry is a absolute joke. Then again I am happy because it feels like you get some of these great artists to yourself.Last edited by USF11; 05-01-2008, 03:51 PM."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Enjoy USF!
Although I'm a huge Atmosphere fan, there's A LOT of great recommendations in this thread. Tonnes of reviews from my man X*Cell, just ignore his El-P reviews.Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.Comment

NP, my only problem now is running out of space on the IPOD touch. You guys are on top of this stuff."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
If I paid for the new roots album on say Itunes I would be pissed cause it maybe has 3 songs, but since its free and new. I will say its decent. Its not as good as their other albums, when your in a music drought you will take anything."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

QTF. I just popped El-P's "I'll Sleep When You're Dead" back into my car after diving into Atmosphere's newest album since some of the beats reminded me of El-P's stuff. Fantastic album. Its like NIN did the beats for a hip-hop album.
