Haha, great song. Always picks me up after a bad day no joke.

Any of you guys listen to The Root's new album? Compared to Game Theory I'm really not feelin' it, but it sounds like an album that takes a few listens before you can get into it.
everyone has pretty much come on here and expressed distaste for it. I haven't liked the Roots for a while. I see how the Game Theory had its appeal, but it wasn't exceptional to me. The last Roots joint I truly enjoyed was Illadelph halflife

Thanks to you guys, I have found atmosphere, d/l'ed every piece of music they have made and listened non stop for the past 3 days.

I am so tempted to drive from chicago to the hump dome in Minnesota for the concert they are playing at on the 25th.

I still have no clue how the more "popish" songs like "sunshine" "mattress" "rooster" and the list goes on never got any mainstream attention.

Seriously.................Maybe its because Slug has a face for radio, but still Kid Rock is famous.

I also picked up all Murs albums today, so far so good.

I sampled a some of the MF DOOM stuff on itunes havent got around to finding the torrents yet.

I seriously downloaded like 200-300 songs this weekend I feel bad cause I havent even had time to listen to the grouch stuff or the 9th wonder & buckshot album.

I have gotten real anal with my Itunes regaring album covers, song titles using capital letters, and making sure genres are all the same.

There is a song I bought by Canibus, Chino XL & Royce 5'9'' called "I Wish U Would" that has this fantastic beat. Its older though.

The first DOOM album you should get is Vaudeville Villian. He actually goes by Viktor Vaughn for that album.

Yeah thats the one that comes up first on Itunes. Basically what I do is find someone I like then just go from related artist to related artist.

                        You think?

                        Madvillian is a CLASSIC

My only gripe with it is the fact that his songs are so short (usually around 2:00-2:30 secs long)

Vaudeville Villian and Madvillian are his two best projects. With the Madvillian project you have to know what you're getting into though.

Anyone heard that new Black Spade- To serve with Love CD

He did a cd with Nicolay maybe 2 yrs ago.

Anyways, its not bad. It starts out kinda average but the beats really pick up towards the end of the cd

I didn't pick up When life gives you lemons...,

But Ant isn't that good, IMHO and I think he sort of brings Slug down. Boring beats and very repetitive. Slugs okay, I guess. Still better than mainstream stuff.

I did buy the previous album, listened to it twice and haven't listened to it since.

The Roots "Rising Down" is good. It has some really good bangers on it. Still like "Game Theory" better. I actually loved Game Theory. No one in Hip Hop puts on a live show like The Roots. If anyone on here hasn't seen them and they come close, definately check it out.

The new Lyrics Born album is overall weak, too, I think.
The latest Cunninlinguists album is really dope, though. Just thought i'd make some points.
