    Re: fans of underground rap?

I have a question about stereos; subs and amps to be exact. I am guessing there is someone on here that can answer my question. I am looking to put 1, maybe 2 subs behind the rear seat of my DBL cad tacoma. There is not a lot of space so I will be using Kicker CompVT 07CVT102, they are shallow mount 10" subs.

I am trying to learn and understand running speakers in a series and parallel, Ohms and everything else but I am still pretty confused even after a lot of reading.

My question is simply what amp would you recomend if I purshased 1 speaker? and what amp for 2 speakers? I am not really worried about having a ton of bass which is why I am leaning toward 1 speaker. However I wouldn't mind having the "ace in the hole" just to have and maybe turn up every once in a while and have 2 subs.

I do not won't to spend a fortune on an amp, but I don't want a piece either. I am think maybe a $200 limit, but could go higher. I can get the 2 subs for 120.

This is a link to the speaker, however I won't use crutchfield because they are too pricey.

apparently that wasn't the real Devin album. That was **** that Rap-A-Lot put out on the same day that his album was droppin. Sounds like they're pissed he left the label.

So, I've been spinning Felt 2 after really digging Murs for President. Slug and Murs are made for each other. When the hell is Felt 3 gonna drop?

A few songs into LIAB and this is just lovely. I know of 2 songs that Tay raps on.

I know everyone was little disapointed at the direction LIAB was going, but please just give a chance. Don't think of it as Phonte not rapping, just take it for what it is and I don't think you will be disappointed.

This is just lovely music period.

It's mediocre, which is a huge disappointment. Beats are nice as ****, but Phonte's singing is average and the album is pretty boring. There's a good running theme throughout, but Phonte never says anything substantial to make it worth more than a few listens.

Edit: That Devin the Dude album is what Foreign Exchange should have been. A great mix of rapping and singing that you can still relate too. Obviously Phonte and Devin are different type of artists, but you get my point

I appreciate it for what it's worth and I respect their creative direction; in fact I was really pumped before it came out even though I knew it was going to be Phonte singing. I just don't think its that good. Nic is on point with the beats though.

I doubt it would ever happen now with Murs going to a major label.
