And yeah, Nujabes is awesome. He actually owns the largest record store in Shibuya, Tokyo. The rapper Substantial that is on a lot of his tracks is from the QN5 collective (Tonedeff, Pack FM, etc.) and the Nujabes stuff is probably his best work, though I haven't heard his solo disc. Nice MC though. Those beats are the best for summer nights just chilling.
I actually have Substantial's album but I haven't listened to it yet.

"The World According to RZA" is a trip to listen to if you like instrumentals or freestyling. I love his similarity to 9th Wonder. This is a must-get imo. One of the best producers to ever live...

In dedication to "The World" ... I've made a file with all my "World" songs with 2 of my favorite tracks from "The World According to RZA" tossed in.

                Re: fans of underground rap?

The show was HOT! But we knew that would be the case.

So my girlfriend and I are leaving our hotel and we get outside and see the LB Van and the Tour Bus. I see Evidence he came and told me what's up etc...and the van and bus leave. I am like cool, they must of stayed at the same place and I just missed them leaving. Me and my girl go to the mall, then go back to our room and get ready to head to Stubbs, eat some BBQ, walk down 6th and go back to Stubbs a little later for the show. Well we get to Stubbs and she is like, damn I forgot my ID. So we have to go back to the hotel. We get there and I see the van again and the guy (who i always see seeling merch, don't know his name) outside again. So I am sitting outside in the car while my girl goes in to get her ID. When I look through the review and she is like look who I ran into and next thing I know Pooh and Phonte are outside my car, so i get out tell them what's up etc and they say see you at the show and what have you. Pretty cool they came out to tell me what's up.

After the show I chopped it up with Phonte for a bit and said what's up to Pooh. I ran into Evidence like three different times though. Once at the hotel, once while we were going in to eat at Stubbs and once while I was waiting in line. He ripped it too. Saw D Brock outside at Stubbs too.

Phonte and the crew was a little pissed because for some reason, they didn't get a sound check. I don't know if it's because they had a band playing outside before the show inside or what. He said they got the "igga treatment" and let the people at Stubbs know about it...lol funny stuff.

Doubt it makes the shelves in Jan, probably mid Feb. Any news on any other guest appearances? I hope Royce is on there....

Whatever happened to the collab with Murs? Hell, whatever happened to Murs 4 President?

I saw Aesop Rock last weekend in Dallas. I wasn't a big fan of None Shall Pass and that's pretty much all he did. I didn't even feel NSP at the show too much, but after getting home and hearing more, I'm starting to feel it. Of course, "Daylight" was just sick live.
