"The Roots Come Alive" release always gets plays in bunches from me. It's just so jazzy. It really is organic.

      1. Their live rendition of Silent Treatment is seriously one of my all-time tracks of any genre.
      2. Hova- Feelin It
      3. Mary J. Ft. Black Star- Beautiful
      4. Common- So Far to Go off Dilla's "The Shining" [is this version different from the one on "Finding Forever"?]
      5. Mick Boogie and Little Brother and AZ- Rize and Fall

        I no particular order:

        1. 9th Wonder feat Skyzoo - Merchant of Dreams
        2. Jay-z feat Nas. - Success
        3. Ghostface feat Raekwon - R.A.G.U.
        4. Jay-z - Public Service Announcement(9th Wonder Remix)
        5a. Sean Price - One
        5b. Sean Price - Violence

I know I cheated but those last two tracks are from the same album, so I figured I could get away with it...

          Yessss....

Silent Treatment Live is one of the best songs I've ever heard and I don't usually like concert/live songs

I'm glad to see I'm not alone in music taste though

Here are some songs that I just can't delete off my computer even though I have em on CD/Ipod/External HD

          Big Pooh-Heart of the City
          Mos-Travelin Man
          OC-Who Run It (remix)
          Clipse & Jada/Styles-I'm not You
          Doom-Fancy Clown
          LB & Skyzoo/Chaudon-Speed Racin
Jay Z & 9th-December 4th remix (Love that Outkast intro sample)
          Royce/Elzhi/Supastition-The best to do it

This is the first time i've seen anyone say anything about that song. I've listened to it for years but I'm still not tired of it. Have you heard Insp-Her-Ation by Ceelo and the Ranjahz? It uses the same beat and is a pretty good song too.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Has anyone listened to Grieves? His "Irreversible" album was released in September. I saw him at the Atmosphere, Mac Lethal, Greyskul, and Luckyiam concert a couple weeks ago in OKC and his one verse stuck with me over all of them. He was sick. I just bought his album and it's an instant classic for me. www.myspace.com/grieves

went to Borders and they had 40% off so I picked up Getback and Saw Clown Bad Summer. It's amazing how Slug continues to get better and better in every aspect.

five songs I'm listening to a lot right now:

                            Little Brother - ExtraHard
                            Atmosphere - Sunshine

Blue Scholars - Morning of America
UGK ft. OutKast - International Players Anthem

Dude weighs about a buck twenty or so. He surprised everyone at the show when he jumped over the turntables and took the mic and just killed it. Grieves is a talented guy; I'll be following him from here on out.

Juggaknots are criminally slept-upon. Clear Blue Skies is a great album/song.

And yeah, Nujabes is awesome. He actually owns the largest record store in Shibuya, Tokyo. The rapper Substantial that is on a lot of his tracks is from the QN5 collective (Tonedeff, Pack FM, etc.) and the Nujabes stuff is probably his best work, though I haven't heard his solo disc. Nice MC though. Those beats are the best for summer nights just chilling.
