When I'm at work, I like to Google different characters and learn things I didn't know.

    Tonight I found this gem.

I'm kind of down on Marvel now. The Spider-Verse story has been fun, but I am mainly reading DC stuff: Injustice, Batman, Justice League, Batman Eternal, futures end and multiversity.

I'm on the same page as JBH3, i'm a bit down on Marvel right now other than the X-Books and Rocket Raccoon which so far has been a real hoot. (I really can't wait for the new Howard the Duck book) The thing is, if reports are to be believed anything that's going on in the X-Books don't matter a hell of beans as the reboot will wipe out what's been going on. In fact, the entire conflict between Cyclops and the other X-Men was basically deus ex machina'ed away. That left a pretty bitter taste in my mouth. I actually LIKED how they did it but maaaan, yeah I wasn't happy with how that ended. Otherwise it'd have been my COTW. All-New Ghost Rider has been interesting but next issue is the last in that volume soo bad timing there. I liked Spider-Verse at first but it lost me somewhere in the middle and it has soured me on Spidey. I"m sure once they're completely out of that event i'll hop back on as I've generally enjoyed what's going on in Spidey.

DC on the other hand, is pretty much clicking on all cylinders especially with the Batman family of books (with the exception of Batgirl) and the Amazo Virus storyline that just concluded in JLA was honestly to me, one of the best written and executed events within that book although i'm not too sure about this next big story coming up. In short, DC seems to have its house more in order than Marvel right now and even if you don't care for some of the books you can't deny that they have their niche carved out pretty well to the point that other books don't get caught up too much in their muckety muck. Oh and before I finish, Wonder Woman has been a very awesome read for the last year or so. In fact, I could just say start reading all of Wonder Woman from the beginning of Brian Azzarello's run to now because well, Azzarello breathed new life into her and the Finches right now haven't dropped the ball at all. The JLA portions of the book is a bit of a drag but every time WW has to deal with her own issues it's a slam bang great book.

I 2nd this. DC for me definitely has its house more in order. There's a lot of options too... you've got the Batman books that are all very good (exception on Batgirl...way too teeny bopper), the Justice League books have provided pretty good stories that have brought about a lot of change over the course of this volume, plus Injustice and Multiversity are all new books using character's canon that we all know but still creating its own continuity in their own isolated universes.

Marvel for me has become over saturated and directionless. I agree with SPTO that there's no point really on latching on to anything Marvel because it seems like all titles treading water until this Spring when the "BIG" Battleworld event begins....There are still a few "good" books though....like for instance...don't sleep on Iron Fist AT ALL.

My BOTW is Justice League #39...

1st Jason Fabok's art is AMAZING. The art in the JL books alone are a gem, but I digress...

This issue wrapped up the 4-Part Amazo virus, and while it was a great read I do feel like the story could've been made a bit longer. It was wrapped up a little too quickly IMO. Albeit, not without creating waves that will alter the DCU in the future, which is my favorite part of the book and the overall story. It's "done" to some degree, but there are seeds planted from this arc which will surely grow into something much larger, further down the road I'm sure.

I am greatly excited to see...

Trying to catch up on JL right now - have TBP 2 and 3 locked and loaded for a 24 hour shift. Also plan on catching up with Injustice, currently in Year 2. Probably will be caught up with both by the end of this week.

My botw was Batman/Superman Cross World but I read it Saturday. Tried to buzz through it but that thing damn near confused me. Decent opening. It really didn't motivate me to keep going with it but I'll give it another shot.

I knew about the multiple Thors and such but...Reading Jason Aaron's concept of the book, all I can is "siiiiiigh" I don't read Thor anyways so that's one less Battleworld offshoot to read.

I had a 24 hour shift last night and I got through JL Volume 2 and 3 as well as Injustice Year 2. Can't wait to get the Amazo Virus story arch you guys are referring to.

I also reread Marvel's Civil War. Sorry to say it but I think I may have overrated this book in the past - seems like they left a lot on the table.

I'm gonna knock out the first few TPB of Wonder Woman who is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters. Her aggressiveness and always looking for a fight mentality is growing on me.

Edit: Just picked up Super Action Comics. I enjoyed Grant Morrison's Batman run and so far the first few pages of this are awesome.

sounds like CW might green light a Flash/Arrow spinoff:

and it also teases if this happens three major DC characters who have never shown up on a TV Series

My BOTW: Batman #39, penultimate issue of the "End Game" arc. I thoroughly have enjoyed this Snyder/Capullo run. There were some game changing events to the Batman universe in this one, and it was a very fun read. Must say though that I am unhappy with the ending to the back-page Tynion story, really feel like a big reveal was building and it let me down.....that's all I'll say until others have had a chance to read it.

Finally caught up with Injustice! Love how the "Empress" woke up and immediately put the "Emperor" in check. She cut out all of the small chit chat in issue 10 - loving her more and more.

The book(s) I will be reading Star Wars: Darth Vader. I love Star Wars so this should be the fun read. My "comic book connect" also told me they are having a limited Leia series. I'll be subscribing to both and can't wait to see how this unfolds.
