Anybody been following the Superman crossover event H'El on Earth? Pretty interesting stuff and it looks like
    Spoiler
I can understand how Kara/Supergirl can be manipulated by H'El because of the need to bring Krypton back to life so the story mechanics actually work out pretty well.

So calling on Supes fans to give an opinion. Even if you aren't one i'd still like an opinion

I'm liking it. I normally don't read Superman because I don't find any of the villains intresting. Haven't got Superboy #15 though. Skipped that one until it's $2.

Well just read ASM 700 and Avenging 15.1.....I really don't know how to take this direction they're going with the Spidey franchise but i'm willing to at least go in with an open mind. The psychology of it should be interesting at the very least.

Best part of #700 for me was

I am really interested in where they go with it, fully expecting a Dr. Strange/Mephisto/Stark/Richards 'fix' to Parker's brain inside of the next 9-12 months though after they're done having fun with it.

Maybe during the Ultron War Ock will get put into an Ultron.

Until then, I'm sold, I like where they're going.

Would love to see a pic of your collection... how many are you going to collect?

Just him, a few opened action figures, and a Superman I bought off rumgr to start. Ultimately how well we follow through displaying them will dictate my capacity to collect.

I hope this makes sense. Do not swipe while drunk.

Who's that Martin guy in the add-on story for Spider-Man 700? Is he someone or a random dude they made up just for that? Reading it I felt like I should know who he is but can't remember.

I was wondering the same thing when I read that story. I ASSUME it's just some random guy.

BTW the letter column to close the issue was GREAT! I especially liked the last letter they chose to close out ASM with. That kid shows that there are still youngins reading comics even if it's not in vogue with kids anymore.

I've never been a fan of the cosmic corner of the Marvel U save for the Fantastic Four when they get a bit out there.

I'm coming around to it, but have never really been a fan either. Galactus and Thanos are two of my favorite characters/villians but nevr really read much of Guardians or some of the other cosmic books. I still hate the Raccoon and the tree, but snagged a pack of Guardians of the Galaxy and read the first few issues the other day and kinda liked it.

Adding Iron Man is a good move, grounds the serieis into more familiar territory by adding Stark, could be adding a nice in for the movie plausibility also (Joseph Gordon-Leavitt now rumored in the mix for the lead)

Cool did not even know we had a thread going on comics here on OS. I am a huge reader, collector geek etc. I even converted my walk in closet to a library of sorts for all of my book. I have been mainly a DC guy, but I follow Spidey,Cpt. America and Daredevil. Just picked up all of the #1's of the new re launch in the Marvel universe. It helps I work in a comic store. I also have 200 statues and figures.

Look forward to many great discussions.

PS I have a complete DC run of all major characters and story line from 1980 to 2013, at last inventory I have over 15k books.

Read Indestructible Hulk #3, much better than issue #2, and of all of the Marvel Now! Series I think Hulk has the best artwork.

Read Thunderbolts #3, pretty funny stuff between Deadpool, red hulk, and punisher.

Captain America #3 ended w/ a quite the cliffhanger and has me interested on how this whole thing is going to pan out.

Forgot to pick up Savage Wolverine, anybody read #1 and like it?
